Hiii!! Happy Monday!
To honor the men and women that have served this country,
and bravely died to protect our freedom,
I thought I’d pay my respects with a patriotic blog salute today.
I found this awesome sleeveless, acid wash dress at Target last week,
and snatched it right up!
It’s lightweight, has pockets, and come on … it’s acid-wash!
I love when clothes that I wouldn’t expect myself to like
end up screaming “BUY ME“!
Who likes being predictable anyways?
Not me.
It decided to rain on our photo shoot parade this week,
hence the umbrella, but leave it to me …
to have a neutral (i.e. leopard print) umbrella in my car,
fully ready to be used for situations just like this.
(Oh, and yes, it rains while the sun is out in Florida.)
I’m not usually someone who likes to wear a lot of red.
It’s never been a color that I think is ‘my color’, per say,
so POPS of red are about all I will let myself do.
It has to be offset by other colors.
So, if you follow me on Instagram,
you know how much I love my newest
pop of red, my red wedges.
They are so cute and comfortable,
and will be on serious rotation this summer.
I am finally off for a few days after working the weekend,
so I am excited to finally join you all at the beach
to soak up some beautiful Florida sunshine today!
Have a wonderful holiday and God Bless America!
With LOVE & sequins,
AHS

I love that you made a slightly boho or rock n roll dress look sophisticated! This look is so fun and I love the pop of red (although it's not really my color either)!
