I had such a great New Year’s Eve celebration this year, and I could not be more excited about 2015. I’ve kind of been slacking on sitting down and really writing out my resolutions [although I have shared a little bit here, here and eluded to a few things here], but I guess the excitement comes from knowing I’ve already been following through on them already. One of them is to have a better work / life balance this year. I took a few of the first steps needed to make that happen over the last two days, which was scary. I’ve cried quite a bit, experienced a lot of fear and anxiety, and ultimately felt like I was going to throw up at any moment, but I’ve also been encouraged by God and sweet friends and family members just when I started to lean into those feelings more than my faith. He’s just so good like that. I can’t wait to share more, but for now ….
…. this outfit is what I wore out on New Year’s Eve! The dress runs small, but is an amazing one to have tucked away for a fun party, wedding, or night out with the hubs or girlfriends! [That’s right! It doesn’t have to be New Year’s Eve for you to embrace a sequin dress, ladies! Come on! Confidence is everything!] It was comfortable, warm and NOT itchy! Also … how cute is this bag? We can’t all afford a Chanel, so I thought it was a cute alternative to achieve the same look. Found this amazing blue coat that is super similar to mine. I highly recommend!
