WHERE TO DO HOLIDAY SHOPPING IN NEW YORK CITY

Hi friends!
Well, believe it or not, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving Day is waking up, venturing into the living room and cozying up on the couch to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It’s such a traditional part of the day and New York City is the perfect place for it.
Venturing up to the city during the holiday season has always been on my bucket list. Friends of mine say that between the window displays, the decor around the city along with the weather … you truly experience the Christmas season in a magical way. My Mom and I would see New York City on the news during this season and just swoon over how beautiful it looked. We always used to talk about going up for a weekend to do our Christmas shopping one year. While her and I never ended up making that happen, I am very excited to share that TrumpSoho [in New York] is helping me cross this little trip off of my bucket list.
I have quite a bit of shopping to get done while I’m there and TrumpSoho is in the best neighborhood to get it all done: SoHo, an area located South of Houston St. This area is the fashion mecca of the city with hundreds of retailers to peruse in and out of, including some of my personal favorites like IntermixFrench Connectionkate spade new yorkJ.Crew. Having all of these in one little neighborhood makes the city seem so much smaller. I’ve already mapped out where I’ll be headed on my trip up to the city in a couple weeks, and I rounded up some gift ideas from each place for you to get some inspiration for the gal’s in your life that deserve a sweet thank you.

To see some of my other picks, be sure to check out the full “Gift Guide For Her” on their microsite, HERE.

Be sure to take note of the items on sale!

Sure, there are other areas to shop in New York City, but one of the reasons why I love Soho is because it’s a one stop shop. It has everything you need in a small vicinity. There are so many retailers that I couldn’t even squeeze into one style board, like

French ConnectionBCBGenerationTed Baker, and Rag & Bone. And, they have a great mix of high and low end retailers. There are other areas to shop, of course, but Soho is where I would do any holiday shopping you may have.

The cutest Laduree sits among all of these stores, and you have to go if you’ve never been! It’s a French bakery that sells the yummiest macaroons. Stopping in for your loved one is a great gift idea. There’s also a spa at the TrumpSoho  that has received amazing reviews. I know I would love a gift certificate to the spa, so if you’re in the neighborhood, and able, be sure to keep that option in mind, as well.

If you’re heading up to New York City in the near future, I’d definitely encourage you to consider
TrumpSoho when choosing your accommodations. The hotel is beautiful, in a prime location with very friendly and helpful staff. Check out their Facebook page and Instagram page to see / learn more.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, y’all! I hope you have the loveliest holiday! Happy Thanksgiving! Sure am thankful for you.

With love & sequins,

Haley
