Hello, hello! THREE days until Christmas … and, surprise! You still have time to snag some last minute items. I personally suggest this holiday-inspired Wildfox sweatshirt, these white denim skinnies, cream-colored beanie and my forever trusty Longchamp tote. Since the beanie is a neutral, you’ll get lots of use out of it this season, and the jeans and tote bag are a staple in my wardrobe all year long! Be sure to order before noon today to get it in time for Christmas Eve! Also, I’m well aware that Ugg’s aren’t the most attractive footwear option, as I mentioned in this post earlier this year, but, I will always be a fan because they kept my feet nice and toasty on many early mornings and late nights taking Fish outside in the snow when I lived in Colorado. I snagged these this year because 1. they’re on sale and 2. mine like these were super old and crusty looking after years of wearing them.

I took yesterday off from the blog because, honestly, I was exhausted from a really long day and I haven’t gotten a lot of sleep over the past few weeks [#standard]. So, on top of that, the altitude and physical exertion from skiing put me to bed super early on Monday night. And, what did I say in Sunday’s post? You can’t do it all! So, I’m sticking to it. I couldn’t get it done and I wasn’t going to try and continue to exhaust myself. Spending time with family and friends & taking the time to rest deserved my attention more.

Monday was the day my best friend, Susanna, drove over from Denver and skied with my Dad, brothers and I. We had such a great time. The weather was perfect! It had snowed the day before so we had fresh snow and it was sunny all day! I’m so happy and thankful she was able to make the trek, especially the day before she heads to Florida for Christmas. She’s the best!

Anyway, the fam and I are having a great time here in Breckenridge! We went snowmobiling yesterday [which was a blast if you’ve never been!!] and took the day off the slopes to just rest and recoup. I’m an introvert so I was craving some time alone to recharge. I put on my warm layers and head out to grab a hot coffee, walked through town, did some shopping, and went and got my nails done. Tonight, we’re supposed to get between 10-20″ of snow … so we should have a really fun day of skiing tomorrow and Christmas Eve. I’m really excited!

There were quite a few people who replied to my Instagram question saying they would like to see a post on what to bring on a ski trip and some warm winter layers that will actually keep you warm, which will be really fun for me to put together because it’s so easy to pack the wrong stuff. [i.e. COTTON]. I’m off on another adventure, literally, the day after I get back from Colorado so I will do my very best to the post to you before then.
