Hi friends! As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, summer is coming! So, today, I’ve partnered with my friends over at Nordstrom to help get you a little more prepared by sharing some of my favorite summer shorts!

I’m typically a sucker for a pair of distressed denim shorts under $50! Those are my go-to but, last week, I found this high-waisted pair that I’m wearing in today’s post and HAD to have them. I love the cute tie sash that you can tie in a bow. It’s just the girly detail that these ‘paperbag shorts’ needed! The price was right, as well.

If you’re willing to invest a little more in a pair of shorts, the above options are all super cute! I have this pair by my favorite, Blank Denim, and I really, really like them!

Shorts, for me, are pretty tough to find. I can buy my regular size in a brand I’m very familiar with and they will SWALLOW me! I’m not sure why shorts are cut so much bigger than jeans but my general rule of thumb would be to size down unless the reviews say otherwise!
