Hi friends! I’m excited to share a little bit about what’s been going on in my life over the last week, as well as my favorite color combo’s to wear during the summertime! Here we go ….

I’ve taken a much needed siesta from creating blog post content to enjoy the holiday and a weekend away with girlfriend’s in beautiful Charleston. I made a strong effort on the way up on Friday to get the Friday Five up. I worked on it the entire car ride up while my friend drove but, unfortunately, I only got about half-way through it. With that said, I sincerely apologize. I know so many of you were excited about it and it always makes me feel bad when I want to get something done, then am unable to for whatever reason. But, like I mentioned on Snapchat, my Thursday post definitely took a considerable amount of time to put together in addition to the other posts that I put together that week so it just is what it is. And, at the end of the day, my friends deserve my time and attention sometimes, too. I also really needed the break, as well. I can’t wait to share the Friday Five I was working on THIS Friday, though. It’s going to be a good one!

Anyway, I hope you all had an amazing holiday weekend! I can’t wait to share more about my time in Charleston with you all. I had such a great time. Charleston was my Mom’s favorite city and it’s such a historical city, which is so much of the reason why she loved it, so it was so special to me to just walk around a place I know she had a strong heart for. I’m very hopeful about getting my travel diary up about what we did in Charleston next week and also … my Mexico City post will be up tomorrow! 🙂 I’m finally starting that Travel Series back up again after a couple of crazy style-oriented weeks over here on S&T.

There have been a few color combinations that I personally LOVE to wear in the summer. They’re typically linked to turquoise [coral and turquoise, orange and turquoise, beige and turquoise, white and turquoise, etc. haha!] but there are three that I’ve found this year that I really, really like and thought it’d be fun to point them out and share:

[1] TURQUOISE & MUSTARD: I wore this romper last month when I traveled to Dallas for the weekend. I have been holding on to this post because this romper keeps selling out, but just noticed it’s back in stock so buy it while you can! I love the bright turquoise earrings. Pairing them with the darker mustard yellow really makes them pop. I love them together!

A couple other fun color combo’s that I’ve found I love this summer are:

[2] PINK & GREEN: I have, actually, always loved this color combination, more specifically my first example with the earrings. I loooove chartreuse and light pink, as you can see below:

[3] TEAL, PINK & COGNAC: This was one of my favorite posts lately and part of the reason is because this is a color combination I wouldn’t normally put together but the earrings opened my eyes to how cute it is! Definitely, check out this romper! It’s SUPER comfortable!

What are your favorite summer color combo’s?!

I also really want to encourage y’all to check out these sunglasses from today’s post because they are considerably cheaper than the ones I normally wear that are similar, and I like that the lenses are dark. I feel like if sunnies are on the cheaper side, the lenses are light and my eyes aren’t as protected as they should be but these aren’t that way! They’re also 10% off right now!

There is something super exciting in the works over here and I can’t wait to share more with you all! I eluded to it last week when I said I booked the most exciting thing I’ve ever done, but also the scariest thing I’ve ever done. Any guesses??
