Hello, hello! Happy Friday, friends! Can you even believe yesterday was the first day of Fall? I cannot. This year has gone by SO. FAST. It’s insane. And, let me tell you … I am so, so happy to be here in London but, one of the things I dearly miss about America is how much we celebrate this season. I haven’t seen any kitchen towels, faux pumpkins or pumpkin patches ANYWHERE here and it’s slowly crushing me. No one seems to love and embrace it the way we do. Thankfully, though, my favorite Fall candle made its way into my hands yesterday when my friend Lyndsey landed here in London! She stayed with me last night before scooting up to Scotland today to visit with family. It’s crazy how comforting the smell of it is for me, and it’s been perfect to burn as I woke up to temperatures in the 50’s this morning! You better believe my windows will be staying open ALL day long .. 🙂

One of my favorite things to do in the colder months of the year is to continue to grab bright colors when I’m shopping at my favorite stores. Beige, burgundy, cream, black, gray, hunter green, etc. are always the ‘typical’ Fall color palette options that we have to choose from in all of our tops and I get over them so fast. There are only so many gray sweaters that a girl needs, right? So, this hot pink sweater from J.Crew caught my eye when I saw it so I had to snatch it up. I realize it’s a little pricey – because it’s cashmere – but, I hate being cold and LOVE to be outside exploring London so I am currently investing in cashmere pieces to choose from on those weekend days when I’m out and about with Ben.

If you’re looking for something similar at a better price point, HERE is a great option!

So, this is me challenging you to try and do the same and incorporate more color and less of the ‘typical’ Fall colors from time to time! Anyone else LOVE that J.Crew is now available at Nordstrom? Such a great partnership, I think! The cognac shoes that I’m wearing are an amazing Manolo Blahnik dupe for just a little over $100! I have a pair of the actual Manolo’s that they designed these shoes after [seen in this post] and it’s crazy how IDENTICAL they are stylistically and comfort-wise. I absolutely love them!

I had SUCH a great time the other night with you guys on Snapchat during the Q&A! You sent me so many amazing words of love and encouragement and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it and you. I couldn’t do what I do without you and I hope you always know I do this FOR YOU … to help you, to inspire you, to encourage you! We all need it from time to time. We’re not perfect. We don’t know it all. I surely don’t! So, anyway … thanks for being so lovely! And thanks for stopping by today! I’m going to go work on that book post and hope to get it up by the end of the day.

Any fun plans this weekend? I am off to enjoy the weekend with Ben! We are honoring my Mom all weekend by doing things around one of her favorite cities to her favorite places, doing things that I know she would love to spend the day doing. Tune in to Snapchat to follow us and to help me honor my mom, Jules! She passed away three years ago [next Wednesday] of a brain aneurysm rupture. I miss her SO MUCH. I can confidently say S&T wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for her. She loved getting dressed, styling outfits, shopping, getting dressed up, etc! I know, for certain, she would have worn this exact outfit if she was still here. I am – in every way – her daughter and she was the number one supporter of S&T from the very beginning.

Love you guys! Have a great Friday! xo.

I love the idea of mixing up typical fall colors and swapping them for a bright color like this pink! And I LOVE those heels. Really need to get my hands on a pair of Ivanka Trump shoes!

I love pairing fun patterns and colors with my utility jacket! It’s so fun for fall and so easy to throw on with a pair of heels or sneaks!
