Casual Stripe Top + Platform Wedges

Hey friends! Happy Monday! Who has the day off work? I dropped both of the boys [if you’re a new reader, meet my boys here & here] off at their favorite local puppy playhouse this morning and am excited to continue to tackle the clutter in my office. I had a really productive weekend and it felt SO good. It was the first time since I’ve been home from London where I feel, like, I’ve made progress. When you check things off your extremely long to-do list little by little, weekend after weekend, it can feel like you’re never going to get there but … I finally see things coming together, and it was the encouragement I really needed to keep going.

Does anyone else look at clutter and the long to-do list and just retreat? I’m like …. ugh, yeah … I just don’t even know where to start. I think a nap is a good place … hah!

So, today, I’m continuing to tackle my filing system, trying to figure out what I really need to keep, what processes in terms of filing need adjusting, etc. You know … super exciting business owner things *eye roll* I also hope to get started working on the travel logistics of my first big trip of the year. I want to buy my roundtrip ticket today because the price of the flight is INSANELY cheap right now. But I’m going to hopping around to a few different cities throughout the entire stay, so I need to figure out those travel logistics first. I can’t let my idealistic mind take over and think we can just leave one place early in the morning and get to the next by 11AM … doesn’t always work that way! Anyone else an idealist? Travel has taught me a thing or two about when it’s REAL good to be a realist! Planning your trip … especially a multi-city trip … makes things SO much better and more enjoyable, let me just tell you!

Speaking of travel, I’m almost done with my Amsterdam travel post! I may be sharing it before the end of the week. Then, I’ll be starting with the London content … I know y’all have been asking for it! Can’t wait to get all of that together to share for you! 🙂

Okay, so I wore this outfit last week & shared the top half on Instagram! I highly recommend this top! I love that it’s long in the back and can be worn off-the-shoulder or normal depending on your preference. I know the cold shoulder top trend is huge right now but, I personally haven’t gotten into it. I definitely prefer off-the-shoulder tops. To each their own, of course! I also want to highlight these wedges! Spring shoes are coming out and these are a great, affordable option that are on trend! Platform wedges are the ‘it’ shoe this season! After marinating on the purchase (and saving some pennies), I splurged on this pair [really similar option in same color here]! Here are a few of the other ones I’m crushing on:

So, y’all know I love my Louis Vuitton Neverfull Tote. It’s no secret. I only wore it every day I was in London! 😉 I’ve reviewed it twice here & here. I think if you’re going to drop quite a few dollars on a designer handbag, this is the most practical one you can purchase. The one I’ve been carrying for months is the Damier Ebene color combination, and you’ll notice that the one I’m carrying in these photos is the Damier Azur color combination. I’m absolutely in love with it. Now, I wanted to share how I got it.

A designer handbag resale company, LuxeDH, sent me that bag to prove that they are what they say they are. They’re a company that sells high quality USED designer handbags. The Neverfull they sent me had two faint marks on the bottom interior of the bag. That’s it! And, they sent me high-resolution photos of the ENTIRE bag prior to sending it to me. While they won’t send you photos via email  directly, you’ll find those high-resolution photos on each product page so that you know exactly what that handbag will look like when you receive it. The photos are of the ACTUAL bag being sold. I’ve been carrying my new [used] Neverfull for two weeks now. I waited a little bit before featuring it in photos because I wanted to make sure I didn’t find any defects or issues with it over time. I haven’t had any issues whatsoever. I’m really impressed by LuxeDH and am excited to share them with you as a safe place to go to if you’re wanting to splurge on a designer handbag but want to get a little bit of a deal!

And … full disclosure … they did gift me the bag and I will make a small percentage from any sales generated from links within this post that take you to LuxeDH‘s website, however, LuxeDH was made aware [beforehand] that the gift would not guarantee a positive review. I’m thankful for such a generous gift and making a commission on sales is nice & all … but I am only sharing this company with you because, after receiving the bag, reviewing it myself and using it [for two weeks before these photos were even taken] I can honestly say it’s a solid, authentic and amazing used Louis Vuitton handbag that I have loved carrying! I know quite a few of you are saving for this bag – based on what you’ve shared with me via email, Snapchat and the survey y’all filled out for me last month – so I was excited to see if LuxeDH would be a great way for y’all to get the bag you’re wanting while also saving a little bit of money! [See sale alert below to save a little more]

SALE ALERT!

In honor of President’s Day weekend, LuxeDH is offering $50 off your purchase of $750 or more with code PRESIDENT! But, if you’re reading this on Tuesday … don’t worry! Just use code SEQUINS50

Alright, y’all. I think I’ve talked your ear off enough! I’m sharing a cute athleisure look tomorrow along with my favorite protein shake to make after a good workout, so be sure to stop by again in the morning! Have a great day! xo.

Loving those gorgeous wedges! The neutral color is so perfect and goes with everything! Also, I’d have to agree that I’m more of an off-the-shoulder person, than cold shoulder, too! Such a cute top!

I thought so, too! (re: the color of the wedges!) For so long, cognac was THE color to get and wear but I’m loving changing things up and opting for grey or beige! 🙂 xo.

Hi there! 🙂 Are the jeans you’re wearing here the actual ones linked? Sorry to ask and no big deal if they’re not (obviously ha), I just wanted to make sure the wash is the same before I buy them. Thanks in advance! Huge fan of your blog 🙂

Hey Jackie! Yes, they are the same. I would never link a pair of jeans that weren’t the ones I’m wearing. If the pair I’m wearing aren’t available anymore or they’re old, I’ll always give you the exact jean brand & name but will disclose that they’re sold out or old and then will give you similar pairs to consider. 🙂 These jeans are super flattering. I have two pairs but this pair aren’t altered at the ankle yet, which is why they’re folded under as you can see in one of the photos! Hope that helps! xo.
