Hey y’all! Happy Thursday! Finally got my days right 😉

I thought I’d give y’all a bit of a break from Nordstrom Anniversary Sale today and share a pretty summer dress I picked up recently. I was a little unsure of this new style of dress, with shorts underneath the skirt. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not a stranger to the skort but the skirt on these are typically the length of either a midi or maxi skirt. This floral number is the first one I’ve seen that I like. I think the midi length is a little more appropriate for a short gal like myself. Taller girls could definitely pull off the longer length of the maxi. I love the slit and ruffle detail on one side along with the ruffle detail along the bust. It runs true to size. It’s not made of the best quality but it’s under $60 and could last you a couple of summers if you take good care of it!

Thanks to everyone who came to hang out during the IG live. I had so much fun hanging out with y’all. It was a little difficult to keep up with questions as they were being asked and I hope I wasn’t too awkward. I get distracted really easily so the question after question thing probably made me seem to be but … it is what it is. I think it went well for a first go around! I’ll definitely try to keep it under an hour next time! 🙂 What should the topic be for the next IG live? Would love your ideas!
