Let’s start off by saying that this season isn’t about things but about the beautiful gift we received years and years ago from God … His son, Jesus. If you think about it, He was a gift we all needed so, in this season of giving … buy things and give gifts but I would encourage you to remember that as we move forward into the best season of the year, the holiday season.

I’m so thankful for everything! I know that sounds cheesy, but this has been a really big year and I’m so grateful for everything that happened. My husband is in the Army, and I’m so grateful that he’s home for the holidays (he’ll be deployed for them next year), that we were able to move to Colorado this year (and I’m so incredibly obsessed with everything this state has to offer), and that because of VA loans we were able to purchase a house this summer! I’m also grateful that in the short months I’ve been here I’ve been able to find a job I love at an amazing company. Im also truly grateful for my family- my parents have been so supportive this year, my brother and sister have some big milestones coming up, and my sister in law finally made a fresh start with her daughter! It’s been an incredible year and I feel so lucky.

I truly am thankful for my family and especially my mom. She is my rock. Always there when I need her and when I don’t and whenever I need help. I took my car in for an oil change earlier this week and they called back saying my tires were at the number where they HAVE to recommend you purchase new tires because they’re THAT worn down and I didn’t even notice when I was driving. She offered to pay for my tires knowing I didn’t have the extra money to spend on them and payday wasn’t close. Also for being able to have my son with me for thanksgiving break. GOD is GOOD and things always work out. And lastly, for my health and for my job that allows me to work at home, so we’re if we wanted to make extra money, we wouldn’t have to drive to the office. It’s the little things. And now that’s it’s getting “cold” here in Florida, it’s such a relief not to have to wait until your car is heated and defrosted in the AM!

I am most thankful for my three children. We lost their daddy on thanksgiving day 2001. They gave my life purpose and make me one proud mama.

I have an amazing mom who would do pretty much anything for me a step dad who is always there for me and a husband who knows how to make me laugh!!! I adore my niece and nephew to pieces they make everything more fun!!! My two frenchies are my babies!!! Freddie was just diagnosed with cushings disease and we are doing everything we can to get him on the right medicine and get him healthy so he can be with us for many more years! His brother Bam Bam is the most handsome brat of a dog but gives the best cuddles and my English bulldog Lulu is the sweetest girl ever!!! I feel pretty thankful for all of that!!! She’s strong, she gets around just fine, she does everything if not more, than I can do! Shes amazing! She loves Ulta Beauty and keeps up with trends.
