Reviewing my First Gal Meets Glam Dress

Hey there, friends!

During our road trip through Vermont, Victoria and I were completely taken with the charm of the little town called Woodstock. We had been in the car for most of the day, so I changed into this adorable tweed fit and flare dress from the wonderful Gal Meets Glam Collection. Have you tried out one of their dresses yet? There have been so many that have caught my attention since their initial launch earlier this year but this is the first one that has fit me the best thanks to the Petite and Regular sizing options. I wish more of her dresses had both options but, there must be a reason why it’s not. If you’re petite, as well, I’d say go one size down from your normal. I’m in a 00 petite. Also, it’s important to mention that the quality of this dress is top-notch. I am confident it’ll be in my wardrobe for years to come!

I remember when Julia Engel announced her GMG Collection and how she was partnering with Nordstrom to carry her dresses and thought ‘honestly, what better partner would there be out there?’. I don’t know what the future holds for me and my career as an influencer. I’m not sure I feel led to have a product line. I could change my mind down the line but, if I did feel led to go down that route, I would absolutely love to have my line in Nordstrom stores. I love how they treat customers and I love how we, as customers, trust Nordstrom. I also love how easy it is to return items that don’t work. I absolutely love this dress from the GMG Collection. I bought it for my trip to Spain in August but, sadly, the smallest size was too big so I had to return it. I simply placed it back in the box and put the return label on the box. I have a UPS store right down the street from my house so I dropped it there before I went to grab some dog food for Fish & Chips a couple of days later. Easy peasy!

I typically opt for something pretty casual on Thanksgiving Day but if you and your family dresses up a little more, I’d say her dresses are great options, especially this one that I’m wearing. It gives your stomach some breathing room and allows that food baby to grow comfortably! I also just think it’s adorable and the colors are so appropriate for this time of year! I wore it with an old blouse underneath that I had threw into my suitcase last minute but I wish the sleeves were a little more fitted. I’d recommend a shirt like this one or this one. I love the thought of one of these button-up shirts from the Halogen x Atlantic Pacific line if you’re feeling a little funky and inspired to do something a little different!

I’ll be sharing more Thanksgiving Day outfit inspiration over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned here to the blog and my Instagram! Hope you have a great start to your week! Thanks for stopping by! xo.

The boots are so beautiful! The color is definitely bold but they go so well with a lot of the Fall colors.

  7. I love the classic fall styling you applied for these photos it goes perfectly with the rustic Vermont scenery! I have yet to try out any of the GMG dresses but Julia has such great classic style I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. I’m petite though, so I do love hearing your insight on the sizing!
