Where I Snagged All My Game Day Hosting Gear

Hey there, friends! I don’t know about you but football is in some of my earliest memories with my family. My mom was huge fan of her alma mater, Florida State, and when Jacksonville got an NFL team, the Jaguars, we adopted them as our hometown team very quickly! I have always loved putting on my Jaguar gear on Sundays and enjoying game day with friends and family cheering them on, whether I decide to go down to the stadium to do so or enjoy it from the comfort of my own home!

Lately, I’ve found it much harder to make it down to the stadium to enjoy games and, when I’m home, I love to have a few of my fellow football loving gals and their spouses or significant others to watch it. I am often planning these gatherings super last minute and need whatever I buy for it to be super, super quick! Walmart always seems to be the most reliable place to get everything set and ready in the amount of time I have to work with. They have free next day or two-day delivery on most items and they have such a wide variety of options. If you need game day food or tailgate gear, they have you covered!

If you’re looking for tailgate gear, Walmart has you covered! Here are a few essentials:

So, I wouldn’t say I have a very conventional game day spread but, I have found to be a variety of bites to be the key to peoples’ hearts. I snagged this beautiful wood platter with gold handles from Walmart recently and I have gotten so many compliments on it! I love to use it to provide a colorful and delicious charcuterie board with fruits, nuts and dips, all of which are from Walmart, as well! And then, what game day gathering would be complete without some Tostitos and salsa? So, that’s in the spread, as well. I put some hummus out for people to enjoy as well as some festive pies and pumpkin desserts. It is fall, after all!

Walmart has a plethora of beautiful serving dishes, as well, if you’re serving friends and family at home! I snagged this white platter and this white platter as well as this cake stand. I love to put together a spread that’s a little more elevated than the typical one you see on game day. Don’t get me wrong – I typically have chili cooking in the crock pot but I love for there to be a lot of fun options so having plenty of serving dishes is helpful!

No matter where you enjoy your game day, Walmart will be able to help you make it a day to remember! Have a great weekend, y’all! And, go Jags! xo.

That tray is awesome! It is acacia wood and such a good price.
I love that you did a chic charcuterie board but also had Tostitos and dip – love the mix! (We always have charcuterie, but also Cheezits)
