Ten Best Selling Products of 2019

Hey friends! Welcome to the first blog post of 2020! Over the last two weeks, I have taken quite a bit of time away from the blog and work-scene. Aside from the after Christmas sale post, that I put together while John was at the gym one morning, I kicked up my feet after a busy holiday season and just enjoyed quality time with family, friends, John and the boys as well as relaxed and took it slow. Today is officially my first day back to work and I thought it’d be fun to look back at the ten best selling items of 2019! I always have so much fun looking at the analytics from the year and seeing what you guys got the most excited about. So, without further ado … here is the list:

10. TULA’s Glow & Get It Under-Eye Brightening Balm

TULA BRIGHTENING EYE BALM

This product launched in the beginning of 2019 and was an instant hit! I have, honestly, never seen a product do so well so quickly. It was on backorder multiple times throughout the year and was truly a crowd favorite! I am certainly not surprised as this product truly does wonders for those of us who are constantly wishing they could get one [or a few!] more hour of sleep each night! If you’d like more information about the perks of this product, be sure to check out the blog post I did on it and also consider it’s sister product, the Rose Glow & Get It Eye Brightening Balm!

SALE ALERT | Enjoy 20% off all TULA products with code ALYSONHALEY at checkout!

9. A&F Button-Up Cami Midi Dress

DRESS [wearing XXS Petite] | SANDALS | BEADED CLUTCH | SUNNIES | PEARL EARRINGS | RING

In the Spring and Summer, white is my go-to color. And, when it comes to travel, I always have at least one white dress and one white [or neutral] jumpsuit. Despite the wrinkles, this was one of my favorite dresses that I wore in 2019 and you guys loved it, too! If you’re looking for something similar, consider this one or this one, and be sure to follow along on Instagram and here on the blog for my newest, in stock recommendations! Spring will be here before we know it!

8. A&F Tie-Front Cami Jumpsuit

JUMPSUIT [wearing XXS regular] | SANDALS | BEADED CLUTCH | SUNNIES | NECKLACE | RING | BRACELET

Remember how I said I usually pack a white [or neutral] jumpsuit? This is the one I went with when I traveled to Mykonos in 2019 for my dear friend, Victoria’s, bachelorette party! It was insanely comfortable for walking around and I may have worn it on multiple occasions throughout the Summer in 2019. Since it’s currently sold out, I’d love to encourage you to consider this one or this one!

7. Vince Camuto Gigietta Bootie

HOODED CARDIGANJEANSHATBOOTIESRIBBED LONG-SLEEVE TEE

Okay, so … it’s only natural for the items I featured during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to top these lists each year. So many of you use my posts as a resource and are kind enough to make your purchases through the links so I try to be fair to the other top products of the year by weeding out the items [from the sale that are on the list] that are completely sold out and will likely not be restocked anytime soon and ONLY include the items that you could get a lot of use out of that ARE still available. With that said, these booties had to make this years’ top selling products because you guys FLOCKED to them! If you haven’t done so already, be sure to snag them for your Fall and Winter wardrobe. They are currently on sale for under $100 and available in quite a few colors and prints.

This outfit was originally featured in this post during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

6. Knot Sisters Hampton Dress

DRESS [WEARING XS; RUNS TTS] | RATTAN ROUND BAGSUNGLASSES | PINK BAG + EARRINGS, FROM LOCAL ARTISAN IN COLOMBIA

If you’re new to following me, I ventured to Colombia in 2019 to celebrate my 33rd birthday. I love to travel to colorful places so it felt only natural to tick a new one off my list … Cartagena! As I mentioned before, I always pack at least one white dress with me and this was the one I was currently crushing on this time last year. As a Florida native, I feel like I am one of the first to start featuring Spring items because we don’t have much of a Winter. I’m pumped to share that this dress is still available, ON SALE, and a great option for those of you who prefer your dresses to not hug you too tight! I love the eyelet detailing and the babydoll fit.

5. Halogen Pleated Midi Skirt

PLEATED MIDI SKIRT | BLACK BOOTIES | BLACK MOTO JACKET | BLACK CAMI | BEIGE BOOTS | BROWN SWEATER | GUCCI BELT

This leopard print midi skirt is another Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchase that made the cut! It is currently still available and is a great way to spice up your work wardrobe! I’m going to try and share more workwear inspiration this year for you guys, as it seems to always be something you enjoy seeing from me!

4. J.Crew Tie-Neck Leopard Blouse

J.CREW LEOPARD BLOUSE

I found myself always wanting to grab this leopard blouse when I have something I need to dress up for. It has served my wardrobe well and I love that I’ll have it for many more years to come. Sadly, this exact one has been out of stock for awhile, as I purchased it last January, but I have found THIS ONE and THIS ONE to serve as similar ones to consider.

3. J.Crew Cocoon Coat In Italian Stadium Wool

COCOON COAT • I’ve linked this outfit’s exact details in THIS post & refreshed the links recently in THIS post

There’s truly no denying my love for this coat. I have been wearing it for years [2017, 2018, 2019] and, before that, I wore the toggle version [seen here in 2016 and here in 2015]. The wool coats from J.Crew stand the test of time and I know that this coat still has a lot of life left in it. I have raved about them year after year so, if you missed out on them this past year, be sure to follow along closely because I will always sound the alarm when it’s time to start pulling the trigger!

2. J.Crew Cameron Slim Crop Pant

CAMERON SLIM CROP PANT • FULL OUTFIT DETAILS LINKED IN THIS IG POST IN THE LTK APP

I can’t accurately describe my love for these pants. If I worked in an office, I’d wear them at least three times a week and have them in almost every color! I do have them in this pink color, black and gray but have certainly not given them enough wear in 2019 so I will be trying to change that this year! I recently ordered the ivory and camel colors because, if and when this London move happens, I am going to be heading into the city for work dates and meetings and will surely make a lot of use out of them! They’re so flattering. I cannot sing their praises enough. I am wearing a 00 petite. Since the pink version of the pants are no longer available, I’ve found THIS PAIR and THIS PAIR for you to consider!

1. H&M Dress with Appliques

BLACK DRESS WITH APPLIQUES

I wore this dress for the first time during my birthday trip to Cartagena! It was so comfortable made me feel so sassy and beautiful. Don’t you love when you find dresses that do that? Sadly, it did sell out but I have a few other options for you to consider like this one and this one. I actually just purchased this one and can’t wait to try it on! Are you a little black dress kind of gal or do you stick to lighter colors? Honestly, y’all know I tend to gravitate toward the lighter end of the spectrum but I just loved this black one too much to resist! It’s always good to have at least one dark dress in your wardrobe, in my humble opinion!

And that does it, you guys! I hope you enjoyed reading the list of best selling products of 2019! Is there anything you’d like me to focus more on – style wise – this year? More workwear? More casual looks? More round-up’s of specific items like work blouses, travel shoes, denim I’m loving, etc? Let me know in the comments below! Once I get back from Chicago, I’ll be starting to conceptualize some new blog post and video content for 2020! Thanks for stopping by! xo.

I’ve had a double breasted wool J. Crew coat since 2016 & can attest to your note in #2, it’s been thru a few NYC winters

I love this review! It’s cool to see what everyone loved the most and to see the themes that kind of sum up fashion for us over this past year reflected in the list (animal print was something I loved this year, although I never really have in the past). Not surprisingly, I love each piece!
