So, last weekend I flew up to Nashville for a little getaway to spend some time with a couple of my long-lost college girlfriends. (At least when you get older, and your friends move all over the country, any amount of time makes it seem like they are ‘long-lost’. Oh, how I miss college … and my sweet friends!) On my way to baggage claim at BNA, I just so happened to find myself being drawn in to the Sunglass Hut and I found them … my summer shades:
I couldn’t be stopped. I helped myself, forgetting about the salesgirl, in taking them from behind a possibly locked glass case to see what they looked like on.
Thoughts of wearing these in a fun beach cover-up while beach cruising down A1A, sitting on my beach towel at the oceans edge catching up with girlfriends, and enjoying a tropical drink outside on a beach bar patio all came to mind when I saw myself in these shades. Unfortunately then, “Wait, how much are these?” interrupts those glorious visions. $155? Not horrible, but … I decide to wait.
AND IT’S A DARN GOOD THING I DID, TOO! Look at this:
This here is proof that God loves me. I found these IDENTICAL sunglasses at Forever 21, which saved me and my poor bank account approximately $149. CHA-CHING!
And they even look almost identical ON, too! It’ll be Spring before you know it y’all, so get on over to Forever 21 and get yourself these for $5.80.
[Sidenote: Puh-LEASE excuse my hair. My initial intent when leaving the house was to quickly go get my eyebrows waxed. I don’t know what happened, but I ended up here, looking like … this.]

THIS is why I’m starting the “Friday Find”. There are so many great things out there that would be AWESOME to have, the real deal. But, we all have bills to pay, trips we want to take, and food to buy, so we have to be realistic sometimes. And, I personally love when I find stuff like this. Because, even if you plan on saving for the real deal, these little finds don’t break the bank in order for you to still sport the style or trend until then.
