It’s no secret I love me a good statement necklace.

All but one post on Sequins and Things, so far,

has included a statement necklace.

People who know me personally can attest to the fact that
they are part of my daily style.

I’ve always been drawn to necklaces

that are big, colorful and just easily catch your eye.
I find that they generate outfit inspiration,
as well as help to complete a look.

Most of the necklaces that I wear on Sequins and Things are mine,

but I borrowed this beautiful one from my friend Nicole.
She showed it to me and I couldn’t resist wearing with my “Cobalt Crush” outfit:

I loved the vintage feel to this necklace,

and was bummed when I went searching for it online,

only to find that it was no longer available.

However,
thanks to this pesky habit of mine,
called online shopping with no real need for anything,
I was pleasantly surprised to find this beauty
on J. Crew’s jewelry page.
I mean, really, you’re never disappointed
when you peruse their jewelry page,
let’s be real.
But, look:
