Thanksgiving is this week. Y’ALL! That means it’s almost the holidays!!!! Where did this year go? It felt like it just flew by! Aside from so many obvious things to love about this time of year, like decorating your home, elf on the shelf, starbucks red cups, and enjoying the magic and beauty of christmas lights with loved ones, what I love about this time of year is the fun you can have with your wardrobe … because, let’s be real, there’s always a need for layers. From embellished tights and cable knit socks to plaid button-ups and tweed jackets … the mix and match options are endless.

Jacksonville saw a gradual decrease in temperature throughout the day yesterday, with extremely gusty winds, making it all too easy for me to grab my gorgeous new tweed jacket from Milk + Honey Boutique. It went perfect with my striped tissue turtleneck from J.Crew (an essential that you can grab on sale right now!!), polka dot tights, and faux leather skirt with cross-stitch detail on the sides. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it’s so warm and extremely versatile. With an asymmetrical zipper, it can be worn zipped up for an edgy feel or open for a chic look. I, personally, love the full flare of having the jacket open.

If you are like me, and have to have this jacket, be sure to head over to Milk + Honey Boutique‘s website! They’re graciously offering Sequins and Things readers *10% off your purchase with the code: sequinsandthings today through Wednesday! See some of my other M + H faves below and, as always, happy shopping, ladies!

With love and sequins,
Haley

“Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.”

“People always ask me, ‘You have so much confident, where did that come from?’
It came from me. One day I decided that I was beautiful, and so I carried out my life
as if I was a beautiful girl … it doesn’t have anything to do with how the world perceives you.
What matters is what you see. Your body is your temple, it’s your home, and you must decorate it.”
