Hi there! Happy Hump Day! I’ve had this post ready for a while and, for whatever reason, just hadn’t posted it, so I thought that I’d bring it to you now that 95% of the country has been frozen over the last few days … I figured maybe seeing some color will do y’all some good! I live in that other 5% of the country … the part that you all hate right now. Yep, Florida. I went to the John Mayer concert last night and was beyond excited that, when we were leaving, it had dropped below 60 degrees! It could have even been 55 degrees, but you really shouldn’t let a Florida girl be the judge … anything below 70 is cold to me!

During this time of year, I naturally gravitate towards building outfits around darker colors. I think we all do. We all get excited about the hunter green, navy blue, crimson, shades of gray and black because we’re “over” the bright colors we’ve been in all summer. I’m guilty of it, too … mostly black. I love black. After a while, though, I feel like my style is becoming a little mundane so I try to challenge myself to blend the seasons together. I think it makes the season a little bit more “merry and bright”.

If you’re looking for some great gift ideas for yourself, coworker, friend or female family member, be sure to head to yesterday’s post. It was dedicated to all you gold loving gals!

With love and sequins,

Haley
