Hi there!
Y’all know how much I love love, more specifically the love that Jesus calls us to give one another. There are two scriptures that come to mind when I think about loving others:
“Freely you have received; freely give.“
Matthew 10:8
“We love because He first loved us.”
1 John 4:19
The emphasis on freely is my own, and is easily exchangeable with the word unconditionally. We are so quick to turn a cold shoulder to one another for the smallest of differences or disagreements, but God loves us even though we fail Him, turn our backs to Him, choosing to do life our way, giving in to the dark ways of this world, every day, multiple times. We are so unworthy of His love, but it’s there for the taking no matter what! Even those who walk with Him in daily relationship struggle, myself included. No one is perfect. No one. Jesus was the only human to walk this Earth free of sin, but when we look to Him as our master, our Lord, our example … we see how it is that we are supposed to walk through this life. It is because God loved us first that we are able to know how to love others.

Dallas was a little chilly for this Florida girls liking. I had to bust out the [faux] fur … now, that I am a fan of!

… because you just can’t come to Dallas without going to get a Sprinkles cupcake, that now has ice cream. The sweetest end to the most perfect trip!
