Oh, Monday. Most people are not very excited to see you, but I am. I worked the weekend at the hospital, so I’m excited for a few days ‘off’ to do my kind of work … this! I’m really excited for some things I have coming up on the blog. I’m going to finally be incorporating some content that is beauty and decor related, which I know y’all have been requesting for awhile! Hope you’re just as excited!

How was yesterday with your Dad’s? Did you get them anything fun? Usually I am SO stumped on what to get my Dad, but this year was so different. He’s been on a huge health kick so I got him one of these thing to help him see where he’s at on his goals throughout the day. He was so excited and can’t wait to use it! 

I’ve styled quite a few bright and summery looks lately, but I’m seriously loving this black and white look. I feel like people shy away from black this time of year, but I encourage you to stand out and embrace it! My top from Chicwish is amazing. I love how big and flowy it is. In the summer, I’m not a fan of super tight clothes because of the humidity and my love of space. [Sidenote/FYI: I despise crowds, close talkers, and small spaces] I can’t say enough great things about these wedge sandals from Sole Society. They are so comfortable, easy to walk in, and I love all the straps! They definitely have a cool, edgy feel, which I like. One more thing, I think it’s time you snagged a lime green/neon yellow bag. I found one that is pretty similar to the one I have … go here. I absolutely love it!
