I was originally going to include a video in this post, but … after some technical difficulties … that got nixed! So … I wanted to share my “Fall Shopping Haul” because with so many things to buy this time of year, I think it’s important to have a good save vs. splurge strategy. I would personally say to splurge on a nice coat [although affordable outerwear is here], weather resistant boots [obsessed!], and over-the-knee boots [more affordable here]. I suggest you save a little bit of money by buying more affordable plaid button-up’s [perfect buffalo check button-up for $24!], puffer vests, and chunky knit sweaters.

FOR THE RECORD | I don’t feel it’s necessary to have two royal blue coats. Visually, I like the long Forever21 jacket more, but they didn’t have it available in my size originally, which is why I bought the very similar Old Navy Jacket. A couple days later, I saw the Forever21 one had been restocked and ordered it to see how they compare. I am still waiting for it to come in the mail, so when I receive it I’ll let you know which one I will be keeping!
And, although none of these are recent purchases, I am including some of my current favorites from ASOS’ dress section! They have some really amazing ones right now that would easily pair well with a light cardigan or jacket for the cooler temps!
