First and foremost, it’s my best friend Susanna’s birthday today, which is definitely worth mentioning because she’s the best person ever! I thought it’d be fun to post a “real life” photo of myself and her below. I wish I could be in Denver to celebrate her today. Be sure to send your best friend a text – or, even better, give him or her a call – reminding him or her how much you love them, ESPECIALLY if they live across the country from you. Love you, Sus! So, shirt dresses are one of my favorite things to wear, especially in the Fall! The one I’m wearing comes in two different color combinations. I chose black and blue because I felt like it was the underdog, to be honest. Plus, I’ll always like blue better than red 😉 We need to talk about the booties I’m wearing. Y’all … I have been looking for the perfect classic black booties for a couple seasons now but these made the wait completely worth it. The V shape in the front makes me weak in the knees; they are so cute. When I got them in the mail, I decided the brown color had to be ordered, as well, so you’ll see those styled at some point. If anyone in Jacksonville is free on Friday morning, be sure to stop by this event! My church, Eleven22, is opening the coolest thrift store you’ve ever seen called Hope’s Closet at 10:00AM. Y’all … I’m not joking. I thought I was in Urban Outfitters or like a super cool boutique when I first walked in. I almost cried, too, because I remember when hearing about it being something the Lord laid on someone’s heart. It’s cool to watch how the Lord used so many people to make it a reality, and I pray it’ll really be a blessing to this community. I’ll be hosting the Fashion Show beginning at 10:30AM.
