Hi pretties! We have a little over a month before we ring in the next season and, as I’ve mentioned, now is the best time to get a move on all the best times. There are tons of new arrivals, and most styles have all sizes available. I thought it’d be helpful to do a round-up of an item EVERY gal needs to get through the cold weather months … a couple good pairs of booties.
Last year, I snagged these open-toe, heeled booties by Kristin Cavallari in black. I really like the style of them, however, they are a little tough to get on at first … until you stretch them out a bit.
During the #NSale, I purchased these BP. ‘Trott’ booties in the Chocolate color, and I absolutely love them! I wore them in this post to give y’all an idea of how they look on. If you like these, don’t hesitate. Because of their classic style, they’ll definitely sell out again soon.
I’m a little embarrassed to admit how many pairs of booties I’ve purchased in the last couple of weeks, but I’m going to be doing quite a bit of traveling in the upcoming months and know I’ll be putting these all to good use … and I’m not going to lie, I may return a pair of two. Sometimes I overbuy “just to see” what they’re like because I can’t tell through an online product photo. The few that I’ll mention I’ve purchased recently but haven’t spent enough time in the give a full review. But I’ll give the observations I’ve made so far.
Ivanka Trump ‘Sunal’ Almond Toe Bootie [seen under ‘heeled’ booties]: Okay, I LOVE the way these look. They’re so beautiful. I just got them in the mail yesterday. They are pretty tough to get on at first, to be honest. You need to stretch out the top before then as you push your foot in, pull the stretchy part on the back of the shoe around your heel … but it’s not super easy. I’m pretty sure they’ll stretch and become easier, but will let you know if I end up experiencing the opposite and need to return them! UPDATE: The more you put them on, the easier they are to get on! I love these. Gonna keep them! 🙂
Vince Camuto ‘Curtis’ Quilted Boot [under ‘heeled’ booties]: Obsessed. Love. Can’t get enough. They look so great on! Can’t wait to share some outfit inspiration with these! UPDATE: These are kind of uncomfortable when you walk in them : A little bummed. Haven’t decided what I’m gonna do yet, though.
Dolce Vita ‘Garim’ Wedge Bootie [under ‘western & wedges’]: I love these, too. Perfect to wear during the day for the girl who loves heels! [like me!]
Vince Camuto ‘Hillsy’ Ankle Bootie [under ‘classic’]: I needed a classic pair of black booties, and last year I missed out on the ones I wanted so I snagged these beauties up the minute I saw them. They’re perfect and will last for a few years. I’m just trying to decide if I should go down a half size. I’ll keep you posted!
