There’s just something about certain garment’s that capture your attention, make you go all heart eye emoji over and, in turn, making you buy it and wear it anyway! You know … for special occasions or a fun night out on vacation!
THIS romper is one of those garments for me. When I went to Miami for a little birthday vacation back in February, I wore to dinner on my actual birthday night with my friend Whitney. It’s definitely not what I would typically go for for a nice little evening out with one of my best friends, but … I just thought it was too cute to pass up and very appropriate for my birthday dinner. [It was on a Thursday this year and not all my girlfriends had made it in to town yet so it was just me and her that night]. Anyway … The top has a really cute tie detailing that is really flattering on small chested women, like myself. [Hey … it’s not a feature we typically get to accentuate and sometimes MAYBE WE WANT TO! In a classy way, of course..] The shorts part of the romper is really loose, which I like because like I said … the top is a little flirty but the shorts make the entire piece wholesome. It’s not ‘too much’.
Be sure not to miss THESE cute blue tassel earrings I’m wearing. I forgot to get Miguel to take a really good close up picture of them but they are super cute! And my SHOES are one of my most comfortable pair of sandals I own right now.
Have you ever splurged on a vacation outfit?
Was it a dress? A romper? A pair of shoes?

I am swooning over the colors in this outfit! The cream and blue is such an elegant combo, with the neutral accessories, especially the rafia. I love it!! I have never jumped on the romper trend but I would definitely try this one!! I have bigger thighs so I’ve always been worried that they’re too tight on my thighs, but the way you described this one sounds perfect!
I usually splurge on swimsuits before a vacation! Even though I already have about 4, I’ll think to myself that I need another new one 😛 I also tend to splurge while ON vacation, especially if there are outlet malls/other stores that I don’t have close to home. I’ll justify it because I can’t get it where I live (even though I could on the internet, haha).
