When it comes to Spring trends, I’d say there is one you can’t avoid RIGHT NOW and there is one you should never avoid EVER.
TASSELS: I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but tassels are THE trend to try right now. They’re everywhere! Now that I’ve mentioned it … you’re going to notice it more and more. I’ve seen them add a fun little kick to beach bags, purses, shoes, accessories, and tops * under $40!. I certainly think they are a great seasonal trend, but be sure to remember that it is just that … a trend and it may be one that only lasts a season so invest wisely.
TURQUOISE: In my opinion, turquoise is to Spring the way that plaid is to Fall. It’s one of those Spring trends that I sincerely hope never dies. When I lived in Colorado, my best friend Susanna had the cutest turquoise necklace from Urban Outfitters. I borrowed it ALL. THE. TIME. It went with almost everything and those are the kind of items I want in my closet. Those are the kind of items I want to invest in because you know it’ll be money well spent if you wear it all the time. If I had to choose between tassels and turquoise, it’s a no brainer for me. Turquoise will always win in my book.
