Hi friends! Happy Happy Saturday! Today, I’m excited to share some outfit inspiration from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with you all! In less than two months time, the temperatures will be starting to drop and we’ll start to feel the oncoming on Fall. With that transition comes a little bit of confusion on how to dress so I thought I’d highlight THREE items from the #NSale that would be great to wear during that season transition.

COWL NECK SLEEVELESS SWEATER: This sweater is such a great transitional piece and closet staple. It’s cream, neutral color makes it the perfect start to countless adorable Fall outfits but the great thing about this item is that because it’s sleeveless, it could also be worn on a cooler summer night, as well! Another thing that makes it great for the transitional season is that the material is a soft, warm waffle stitch made up of mostly cotton, so it’s breathable and doesn’t keep in your body heat TOO much. So, this wouldn’t be an item you could wear later in the Fall season but you have those big chunky knit sweaters for that anyway! It runs true to size. I’m in an XS and it’s definitely a loose fit but the arm holes aren’t too low or anything like that. It definitely fits appropriately. It’s under $50, too, so that’s another perk!

LACE-UP FLATS: Those cooler mornings in late August and early September make me want to opt for a flat instead of sandals. I found these adorable lace-up ones the other day as I was perusing the #NSale and had add them to my collection. I chose to snag them in cognac and black because, not only are they a great staple but they’re also such a good deal! They’re only $60 and I think they’re so cute and comfortable. These will still be getting some wear before the Fall season begins because they have the potential to go with so many outfits. There are nights when I go to dinner with my girlfriends and I want to look a little more put together but I am a little over wearing wedges or heels. These shoes solve that problem immediately! Snag them now. I worry they’ll sell out before the sale is over!

A GOOD PAIR OF JEANS: Who doesn’t love putting on a good pair of jeans after wearing shorts for months and months? There’s just something so heavenly about it, in my opinion. I’ve always been SUCH a jeans girl, so maybe it’s just me! Ha! But, that is probably my favorite thing about this year’s #NSale is that there are SO many good ones included! I was so excited to see that this pair was brought back again. It’s just a different wash than last year’s sale option. I wore them yesterday and love how soft the denim is but I feel like because it’s so soft, it stretches over time. If I had the option, I would go one size down on this pair to not be bothered by that issue! I may take mine to Lilly to tailor and taper. These are a great pair of jeans under $100 that will last you a few years, so putting in a little extra to make sure they get a lot of wear is worth it to me. Jeans are always a great transition piece from Summer to Fall because you can pair them with sleeveless tops and still be super comfortable!
