Hey there! I thought it’d be fun to kick off the week with a look that is almost entirely on sale! Everything from the chunky knit sweater, my favorite faux leather pants that I bought last year and these cute new booties … are all a steal right now!
I talked about these pants in a previous post and wore them on the blog a few times last year [see here & here]. I won’t shut up about them until you try them out yourself because they are too good!
Chunky knit sweaters are a total weakness of mine in the Fall. This was one of the first ones in my shopping cart when the #NSale went live a couple of weeks ago. It’s still in stock … probably because of how low the V-neck is. But, I wore a cute little lace bralette under it so that if it does show, it’s not completely inappropriate!
It’s a shame these booties sold out so fast! I can’t wait for new Fall stuff to come in so there is less of a surge to buy certain items and you have more time to purchase really good items, like a solid pair of black booties. If you missed out on these, no worries! There will be other cute ones that pop up here very, very soon.

So, I’ve got quite a busy week ahead! If you caught the Friday Five last week, you know that I leave on Wednesday to start my journey over to London to live for three months. I could not be more excited but, because there’s so much to do ahead of time, it almost doesn’t seem real. Today, Fish has an appointment with his veterinarian to get his International Pet Travel Certificate squared away. He also has to get another microchip because his doesn’t have enough characters associated with his. It has to be fifteen characters, not ten, like the one he has. Then, I need to get my international phone situation figured out as well as a short-term international medical insurance plan. There are SO many things that go into spending time abroad, y’all! Ha! I could seriously write a whole post about what I’ve learned!
But, it’ll be a fun week! I’m excited to sip some wine and hang out with my girlfriends tonight who are going to send me off by coming over and watching The Bachelorette! Is the finale tonight or next week? I can’t remember! Either way, it’s gonna be a fun night with them! Wednesday, I drive up to Atlanta with Fish to get everything up there a little early. Fish has to be checked in for our flight on Thursday EXACTLY four hours prior – not a minute later, so I wanted to go up a day before to allow for set-backs like flat tires, etc. Although, fingers crossed that doesn’t happen! And, then, FINALLY land in London and give Ben the biggest squeeze EVER! He is meeting me at the airport – THANK GOODNESS. [Y’all know I am not a light packer and this trip will clearly be NO exception!]
