Holiday Gift Guide No.2 | Gifts For The Beauty Queen

Hello there, beauties! It’s been a little over a week since my last gift guide so I decided to take today to get the next one to you. Today, I’m sharing my picks for the best gifts to give your friends and family members who are self-proclaimed or just obvious beauty queens! If anything, my hope is that this gift guide will inspire you and give you some good ideas on how to spoil any of the gals in your life!

I’ll be quick to touch on each product, and share my experience with it or just my motivation for including it as a potential gift!

This lash enhancing serum has been a part of my nightly beauty routine for about 6 months now and I can honestly stand behind its authenticity. I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my lashes. There are more of them and they are much thicker and longer. With mascara on, I’ve had many people ask me if my eyelashes are real. It’s a little pricey up front, but one tube lasts about 5 months! When you do the math, it’s WAY cheaper than getting lash extensions!

I picked up the new YSL fragrance when I was perusing Harvey Nichols here in London back in August. I am extremely sensitive to smells, especially perfumes, so it’s rare that I’ll pick up a new fragrance to smell it. It puts me at risk for enduring a horrible headache for the rest of the day. This one didn’t have that affect on me at all. It smells like a mix of fruits and flowers, and is really light. I highly recommend it and this gift set is a really good deal!

Y’all know my love for TULA skin care products. I highly encourage you try them yourself but, if you already know how amazing they are from personal experience, why not gift their starter kit to your best girl friend or a friend who is constantly fighting horrible skin problems? Be sure to check back here on Tuesday for a code to shop their Black Friday sale early!

I haven’t personally tried this eyeshadow palette but the way the colors are assembled in the palette caught my eye. They’re not separated completely like they usually are. So fun! There are about six different color options so pick which one you think suits your girl friend best! I personally like the one that is shown in the gift guide … better order now! Looks like a few are backordered!

These Sigma eye makeup brushes are on my lust list! I love Sigma brushes and, while I haven’t used these specifically, each one serves a necessary purpose to get the beautiful eye makeup look we all want!

I just think this velvet pink bow hair tie is too adorable! I used to wear bows in my hair in middle school. It was the ‘it’ thing and I really want it to come back!

I use this pink brush cleaning mat for my makeup brushes, and when used with either kitchen soap or body wash … it works amazing!

I’ve been using this dry texturizing spray for almost two years now. I absolutely love it. It doesn’t work like hair spray. It’s most similar to dry shampoo in that it absorbs oil at your roots but also builds body when you work it into your hair. It also smells ah-mazingggg.

I became acquainted with BaByLiss when I got to London and desperately needed a curling iron because mine didn’t work well with a converter. Plus, it just made more sense for me to get one with a UK plug for convenience purposes. Anyway, I’ve been extremely satisfied with mine and wanted to recommend a similar one by them to you in case you wanted to gift a good, affordable one to a friend who has been needing a better one.

Okay, so I’m seriously in awe of this 100% silk pillow case that is supposedly really good for your skin and prevents bed head! It has gotten great reviews so I definitely recommend it! I may or may not be getting this for a good friend of mine for her birthday coming up …. hope she’s not reading this! She always has to get up so early for work … I’m sure this would save her even just a little bit of time on her hair in the morning!

Speaking of keeping your hair looking decent, these hair ties – that resemble old school landline phone cords – don’t create a crimp in your hair where the hair tie was! Amazing … I think we all have been needing these to come out for awhile now!

This cosmetic case impressed me because it has so many different sections and pockets for all your different beauty products, whether it’s brushes, compacts, lip glosses, pencils, etc. There’s a place for everything! It’s a little pricey but – if this gal is a beauty queen – she’ll definitely get good use out of it for a long time!

I hope this guide was helpful! Happy Shopping, ladies!

xo.
