Three Holiday Color Schemes To Consider

holiday party look, holiday color schemes

Hey there, friends! The holiday season is about to commence in just a few short days and I couldn’t think of a better way to get your home looking the part than by providing you with a few different holiday color schemes to consider. I did use the insight you provided me on IG stories last night to come up with the following color schemes so, thank you so much for tipping me off on what colors you are hoping to use this season! Personally, I went with a pink, white, champagne and silver scheme. As you may know, I wasn’t going to decorate. However, I hit a slight speed-bump in my U.K visa plan and opted to go for it with a bunch of decor items I already had. If you are switching up your decor completely this year, I do hope this post makes it easy for you!

ICYW: This sequined number is a great holiday party option. I’m in an XS [petite sizing] for reference. I had found a great dupe to it for under $60, which is what took me so long to share it but, sadly, it sold out before I could. I will keep an eye out as I realize this one is a bit of a splurge!

Color Scheme No. 1: Pink, Champagne, White & Silver

I often feel like the color schemes I use to decorate during the holidays aren’t ones most people would aspire to use, as well. But, actually, a lot of you were decorating with the same colors I’m using. Mine are a bit unconventional so I love that so many of you are warming up to this holiday color scheme. I pretty much had everything but grabbed this ornament set. I’m tempted by these adorable crowns, as well, I’m not going to lie!

WONDERSHOP 7FT. PRE-LIT ARTIFICIAL CHRISTMAS TREE FLOCKED • WONDERSHOP 40CT. CHAMPAGNE & BLUSH ORNAMENT SET  • WONDERSHOP 4CT. GLITTER CROWNS ORNAMENT SET • VICKERMAN 12CT. SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENTS • WONDERSHOP LITTLE GNOME ORNAMENT • PIER 1 BLUSH VELVET POINSETTIA TREE STICKS • MICHAELS METALLIC WIRED RIBBON • WONDERSHOP 25” GALVANIZED CHRISTMAS TREE COLLAR • ANTHROPOLOGIE ILLUMINATED CAPIZ STAR TREE TOPPER • WONDERSHOP 8 CT CHUNKY GLITTER ORNAMENT SET

Color Scheme No. 2: Red, White & Silver

Every year, I am tempted to decorate with red. It’s one of those color schemes that is just so festive and traditional color and instantly makes me happy this time of year. Whenever I see Christmas trees decorated with red, I always want to change my entire scheme to match. However, I have held strong the last three years because, honestly, I’d have to change way too much and I think we all like to do this on a budget, ha! But, here are a few things I would pick up, if it made sense for me, for that color scheme:

BEST CHOICE 6FT.  FLOCKED CHRISTMAS TREE W/METAL STAND • WONDERSHOP 50CT. RED, WHITE & SILVER CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT SET • WONDERSHOP 40CT. SPECIALITY RED, WHITE & SILVER ORNAMENT SET • WONDERSHOP 8CT. WHITE SEA URCHIN ORNAMENT SET • WONDERSHOP WHITE FLUFFY SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENT • PIER 1 VELVET POINSETTIA TREE STICK • PIER 1 HAMMERED SILVER TREE COLLAR • MICHAELS TAFFETA WIRED RED RIBBON • HOLIDAY TIME LIGHT-UP SILVER FILIGREE TREE TOPPER

Color Scheme No. 3: Wood, Burlap, Black / White Buffalo Check, Gold & White

This color scheme was the takeaway from a lot of you who said ‘neutral’ and ‘buffalo check’ and ‘gold and white’. It might not be right on for what each of you is going for but I think you can adapt it to fit your style. I absolutely love this combination. I think it’s great for those of you who have a bit of a farmhouse decor style! Enjoy!

PIER 1 7.5 PRE-LIT SLIM FRASER FIR ARTIFICIAL CHRISTMAS TREE • WONDERSHOP 12CT. CHAMPAGNE ORNAMENT SET • WONDERSHOP 3 CT. TRADITIONAL ORNAMENT SET • WONDERSHOP 9CT. CLEAR GLASS ORNAMENT SET • WONDERSHOP 4CT. ACRYLIC SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENT SET • WONDERSHOP WINTER GNOME CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT • PIER 1 SNOWBIRDS CLIP ORNAMENT SET • ANTHROPOLOGIE NORTH STAR TREE TOPPER • MICHAELS WIRED BLACK & WHITE CHECKERED RIBBON • LARIBBONS BURLAP FABRIC RIBBON • WONDERSHOP SPLIT WILLOW WOVEN CHRISTMAS TREE COLLAR

And that does it! I really wish I could have done this for so many other color schemes! It was so, so fun! But, I hope what I did share was helpful and fun for you guys! Here’s a bunch more decor items that I just happened to favorite as I went along last night! I had a little too much fun with this, ha!
