Winter Neutrals I’m Loving Right Now

Hi friends! Now that we are in the thick of the winter season, have you been soaking it all in? Although I don’t always love to be cold, I do have a special spot in my heart for winter style! From long wrap coats to knit dresses and boots, it’s my favorite time of the year to get dressed. One way I especially love to style my winter looks is by layering neutrals on neutrals. When properly paired together, I think that layers of beiges, winter whites, and tans create a stunning and elevated look. The only thing you have to be aware of is not accidentally spilling your morning coffee, of course! Today, I’m excited to share more of the winter neutrals I’m loving right now with you. So, let’s jump in!

Winter Neutral Outfit

So, I want to be honest upfront – this outfit is made up of pieces that I’ve owned for a while, and some of them are no longer sold. However, some of them are classic pieces that are still sold today, and I’ll be linking those. Also, throughout this post, I’ll be linking similar items that I found to the ones that are no longer sold. That way, if you want to recreate this look, you totally can. Just like that, problem solved!

A long winter white wrap coat might feel like a daring piece to own. But for me, I absolutely adore the look of this coat. Not only does this coat pair well with neutral pieces, but it would also be a great match for just about any other color! It feels daring to own because as we all know, lighter colors might show wear and tear more easily. But if you take good care of it, it will last you for seasons to come, and it certainly won’t go out of style anytime soon!

For even more of the winter coats I’m loving this season, see this post.

For this look, I paired this wrap coat with a long-sleeve mock neck cashmere sweater dress and a pair of tall light suede boots (similar boots). Not only does this pairing give you warmth for the coldest days of winter, but it also creates an effortlessly chic look.

If you’re wanting to incorporate more cashmere into your wardrobe, J.Crew is currently running their end of season Cashmere Event and offering up to 50% off most of their cashmere items!

To accessorize this look, I added one of my favorite, classic neutral bags – this Polène Numéro Un Mini bag (similar bag). To elevate my dress just a tad, I also added this leather belt. Of course, while I’m wearing the wrap coat the leather belt can’t be seen. But once I head indoors and remove my coat, the leather belt is certainly worth the addition. To add an extra layer, I also added this adorable cable knit pompom hat. I also grabbed one of my go-to pairs of sunglasses, and I was out the door.

Winter Neutrals I’m Loving Right Now

One of my favorite neutral pieces for the winter, and all year round, is this pair of tan high-waisted wide-leg pants. These pants are the definition of versatile with the ability to be worn for all seasons. To stay extra warm in the winter months, I would add a pair of fleece-lined leggings or tights for an added layer.

You can never go wrong by adding a few timeless gold jewelry pieces to your collection, to pair with both neutral outfits as well as outfits that feature more colors. This gold chain link bracelet is a stunning compliment to the neutral pieces in any wardrobe. In the same vein, these gold hoop earrings make for the perfect accessory to elevate any winter neutral look.

If you’re needing some more neutrals to mull through, I have plenty saved. Here are some of my favorites:

Which of these pieces is your favorite from this round-up of winter neutrals? Let me know in the comments! xo.
