Hi friends! Today, I’m partnering with ModCloth to showcase one of my favorite Fall outfit staples, the tunic! They come in multiple shapes and styles but, essentially, a tunic is a top that is longer than a normal shirt. I tend to gravitate toward ones that don’t tie around the middle to the back. I like them loose and long, like the one you see me wearing in today’s post. It’s a great classic tunic for only $40! Be sure to not go too small. You want your tunic to be long enough to cover you in the front and the back. I typically wear mine with leggings and, since leggings aren’t pants, that’s an important tip to remember! I am wearing an XS in this one. It’s certainly appropriate but, for size preference purposes, I might go up one more size when I purchase it in another color.

I also love this outfit because it’s a great base for so many other outfit options. You can wear a faux fur vest over this. You can swap out the flats for your favorite over-the-knee boots when it gets colder. The possibilities are endless but this is a great start for the beginning of Fall! Be sure to scoop up these classic black leggings from ModCloth too. They’re super comfortable, only $20, and made of good thick material so you won’t feel the cold breeze right through them! That’s a huge thing for me when I’m buying leggings. I hate pulling them up and being able to see my skin through them! That makes them pointless. These are both great quality and a great price!

You can also wear a tunic, like mine, with jeans, as well! Being that I’m only 5’3, tunics can sometimes make me look even shorter, so I like to front tuck the tunic and wear a wedge or heel when I wear them with jeans. It makes it all look a little more proportionate!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I know Monday’s are always tough but try and make a conscience decision to not let it defeat you! Turn some tunes and crank out the work! I’ll be doing the same … I am working on tomorrow’s Instagram Roundup, and then will be shooting with a new photographer here in London! I’ve made plans to shoot with a couple different ones this week. Can’t wait to introduce you to her! From what I’ve seen of her work, she’s amazing! 🙂 Stay tuned! Have a great day, y’all! xo.
