I ventured up to NYC this past weekend for a very small taste of NYFW. I wore this casual, cool look to hang with my sweet friend, Krista, and some other blogger beauties at her place in Chelsea. This boxy top from French Connection is SO comfortable. I wore it with stretchy black pants and my Tieks to travel in, then threw on the faux leather skirt and leopard heels for a morning full of mingling. Have I mentioned before how important it is to have versatile pieces in your wardrobe? It is. I originally wanted to wear it with a fuller skirt but didn’t have one in my closet that I felt was perfect, like this one. The top ends right where this skirt flares out and I think it would just be SO cute. Stay tuned for more of my quick trip up to the city later this week! [My feet are SO happy I didn’t stay longer!
