Do I even need to talk about this top? Its gorgeousness kind of speaks for itself. When I was shopping around at Milk & Honey in Dallas, its bright and bold cobalt color drew me in. Y’all know it’s my color crush! However, I think it was the black & gold collar and the whimsical style & cut that completely sold me! I styled it with a bandeau bra underneath because, um, well … it’s definitely sheer. Hey … the lighter and sheerer the better in my book, because the humidity and heat levels rise every day here in Florida! With that being said, I definitely love this top with my black denim skinnies, but would definitely style it with a pair of distressed shorts next time. I’m also loving this pair that I found!

Did anyone watch the CMT Music Awards last night? My Dad and I did. I have a very southern family, so I’ve listened to country since I can remember and it’s always fun to watch the award shows with him. It’s kind of cool to think back on the songs I loved when I was little and to see how much its grown as an industry, especially over the last few years. Glad there are more country music lovers out there these days!
