Since we’ve gotten in to Breck, the weather has been so amazing. On Sunday, we took our time getting up and going. I slept in (after being up for 20 hours after getting 4 hours of sleep the night before … I still ask myself all the time why do I do that to myself?), ventured over to the cutest little cottage Starbucks, then went back to get ready for a fun day of skiing with my Dad and brother. I love skiing because it’s seriously like riding a bicycle. Once you’ve learned how to do it, you can pretty much get right back out there no matter how long it’s been! After skiing for the afternoon, I went and walked around town for a little bit! This cable knit turtleneck sweater from Sheinside is such a steal — only $30! Everyone needs it. It kept me super warm. I almost didn’t need my parka! I usually pair it with a tissue turtleneck, but opted for a black gingham button-up this time. Oh! I have to let y’all know … don’t miss the good deals on my new J.Crew statement necklace and my trusty Steve Madden ‘Creation’ over-the-knee boots! They’re both on sale!

How was everyone’s St. Patrick’s Day?

I don’t mean to toot my own horn but … toot toot! … I’ve celebrated St. Patty’s Day in some pretty cool places: in Dublin, in Savannah, in Denver. I can almost guarantee that all of those places, in some publication or another, have made the Top 10 Places To Spend St. Patrick’s Day list. But, I have to say, I really loved the way I spent it this year. It wasn’t crazy, but it wasn’t boring either. It was just fun – minus a major collision between my Dad and I on the slopes! Whoops! He and I skied for most of the day, with a little beer break thrown in there. I do wish it had been green beer (hello, I was a sorority girl! I love anything festive!), but … all-in-all, it was a great day! Even skier’s took the holiday seriously! People were decked out in all kinds of green! I used these green mirrored Ray-Ban’s to get out of being pinched. My Dad, in his red, black and blue jacket, however, wasn’t as ‘lucky’. 😉
More to come from my Colorado trip in the days to come! Follow along on Instagram in the mean time!

With love and sequins,
Haley
