Well hey there! I hope y’all are super excited to have finally made it Friday! I am heading back to work at the hospital today after nine days off. I spent last weekend with one of my best friends in Atlanta with her brother, sister-in-law, and their nine month old baby, so that was absolutely wonderful. Then, as some of y’all know, Wednesday was my mom’s birthday, so I didn’t commit to being at the hospital as I figured I would probably call out, and didn’t want to leave them short. It was a tough day. I tried to honor her and do some things that I know she would enjoy, but it’s definitely hard to immerse yourself in those activities without your loved one. I want to thank everyone who read my post on Wednesday and allowed me to use this platform for my writing and healing as opposed to what I usually use it for, and for your sweet and loving comments and emails. Some of you say “I know this won’t mean anything” or “I know I don’t know you, and this is probably weird but …” and I can’t tell you how wrong you are. Don’t ever not put your heart out there because you’re scared. I love reading your comments. They mean a lot to me and I read them all. Promise. So, anyway, I’m heading back to work, which may seem awful, but I’m really looking forward to taking care of some sweet patients and hangin’ out with my favorite work crew!

Okay, so … I thought I would go over a few of my Friday Finds with you being that I feel like I hit the jackpot in that area this week! I don’t feel like I’m always super lucky in finding amazing deals every week, which is why the Friday Find isn’t a weekly post, but I will do my best to bring it back as often I can. Here we go!

1. Old Navy Puffer Vest – So, I love vests. Sometimes I feel like my outfit is cute, but missing something and then the minute I throw on a vest, it’s complete and just what it needed! Old Navy was having an amazing sale last weekend, where everything in the store was 30% off. I couldn’t NOT go look around to see what they had. I thought, being that I went the last day of the sale, that I would be out of luck … but nope! I found this vest and ended up buying it in green (not on website, unfortunately), too. I grabbed a quilted hot pink vest, as well. I had been wanting a hot pink one since J.Crew had one last year. It isn’t very warm, but the blue one that I’m wearing is! I love it! For that reason, I can truly say it is the perfect addition to your outfits in these chilly months. Okay, so price. They may not be 30% off anymore, but they’re $30.00, which is still pretty good if you compare prices at other stores for a similar item. Also, if you buy online, enter HOLIDAY at checkout and you’ll get 20% off of that $30.00 price. That deal ends TODAY, so don’t wait!

2. Starbucks Gold Drink Sleeve – If you have followed me on Instagram for over a year, you know why this little item is on today’s list. Last year, I posted a photo of a solid gold drink sleeve that Starbucks had out during the holidays and I didn’t realize how deep my affection would grow to be for this thing. I used it everyday. I am horrible at keeping up with little things like this, so I thought I was SURE to loose it at some point. Knowing this, I did my very best to make sure I always had it. I even dug through the trash one time to dig it out … at Starbucks … in front of a good number of people. They all watched. It was great. So, a couple months ago, I happened to misplace my favorite little gem, contemplated spending four times the price to buy one on eBay, and then decided to wait patiently until the holiday’s. I happened to walk into Starbucks on Monday night and … what did I find? A new and improved gold sleeve! Y’all … they are $5 and the most perfect stocking stuffer for your coffee loving family members, coworkers and friends! Go get ya one!

3. Gold Glitter Belt – I actually bought this belt at Target last year. The reason why it’s a Friday Find is because I was re-organizing a drawer in my chest of drawers, and found it in between some clothes that I had folded up. I totally forgot that I had it, and I couldn’t have been more excited to have rediscovered it because it’s the most perfect little accessory to throw with outfits this time of year! It’s festive and fun, and at $12.99, it won’t break the bank! I tagged quite a few options up there for y’all!

I hope y’all enjoyed those and are getting excited for the holidays! I’m going to be putting together some gift guides during this next week to help y’all find the perfect gift for your loved ones, plus my own personal wish list! Have a wonderful weekend, y’all, and thanks so much for stopping by!

With love and sequins,
Haley
