If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, I’m sure you are very well aware
that I was in NYC last week for the LuckyFABB blogging conference.
Between the two days full of information sessions,
beautiful guest speakers like Eva Mendes and Kate Bosworth,
networking events each night, and over 300 other bloggers in attendance to mingle with,
it was an amazing (and exhausting) experience!
So, what does one wear to a fashion and beauty blogging conference?
I mulled over this question for quite some time after I found out I was invited to attend.
At the end of the day, as I was perusing all of my favorite online retailers,
I just decided to stay true to me and wear what I like.
Isn’t that what this blog is all about anyways?

For the first day of the conference, I decided to go with a simplistically chic look.
The dress is from J.Crew, and I’m pretty sure that the Peter Pan collar is what sold me.
I paired it with a bold red lip, crystal-cluster statement earrings,
and a sleek black bootie for the perfect amount of glam!

My four days in NYC were so much more fast-paced than any of my previous trips to the city.
However, even the most exhausting parts were so much more enjoyable
because of the three ladies I had by my side the entire time.
My sweet and adorable roomies,
Danielle from JustDandy, Emily from Life with Emily,
and Caitlin from Southern Curls and Pearls,
were all ladies after my own heart,
so be sure to give them some love over on their blogs!
I know you will love them as much as I do!
Enjoy your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
With love and sequins,
Haley
