Hi friends! First and foremost, Merry Christmas!! Thank you for stopping for on a day like today. Although, I hope it’s not in place of spending quality time with friends and family because that certainly comes first. It’s our last day in Colorado today. I’m definitely sad about that, because I love being here, but I just can’t stop thinking about what a wonderful gift this trip has been. I’d rather a trip or an experience over things any day! Making memories and doing things with family & friends means more, brings us closer together and, honestly, just makes my world go round!
One of my favorite holiday movies is Home Alone. Kevin and I are pretty different individuals but I do share his love for Christmas trees. I love the way they smell. I love decorating mine for the holiday season – even though, I’ll admit, I was SUPER late putting my roommate and I’s up. When I was in New York City a few weeks ago, Lyndsey captured me completely in awe over how adorable the Christmas tree lots are in the city. I had never seen them just propped up on sidewalks like that. They were so cute! I wanted them to ship that wreath down to me … but, goodness gracious, the price for the wreath itself was pretty crazy! I tried to haggle and say that if they delivered it to Florida, they could stay six blocks from the beach for a couple of nights but they weren’t having it 😉
My fairisle turtleneck sweater is super festive and currently on sale for $35. I almost didn’t post this look because it was literally sold out when I got home from my trip. If a staple part of the outfit isn’t available, and I can’t find anything super similar, I won’t put y’all through that disappointment BUT … I saw the other day that it came back in stock in most sizes so … SCORE! It’s definitely a good one to snag now for next year!
