Hi loves! Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was busy, but good! I went to a dear friend of mine’s bridal shower, which was so fun and was great to see so many faces I hadn’t seen in so long! I love catching up with girlfriends I used to see ALL the time, before you know … adulthood. It’s the best! I went to church yesterday morning, and the message was so great! I’ll post it on my Twitter when it comes out tomorrow. It was on being content in all situations, and how God is greater than our circumstances. It was tough for Miguel and I to get some looks photographed for the week, though, because we’ve had so much rain — hence why this post is going up a little later than normal — but we were finally able to get a few done yesterday afternoon!
I’ve had quite a few looks up that work for summer, so I’m gonna be styling some of the Fall items I’ve snagged recently, like my blue & white striped top. [STYLE TIP: Wear now like this or with distressed jean shorts OR wear in the Fall with dark denim skinnies, booties, and a utility jacket!] I also got these wedge booties [in both colors] in the mail today and I can’t wait to style them! They’re a Fall / Winter staple, for sure!! Grab them now! Sizes are gonna go quick! I also got this foldover tote by Sole Society for only $60!! I love the color, because it goes perfectly with these everyday sandals [in platinum] I got at Nordstrom the other day — hah, those weren’t a ‘Fall item’ purchase. They’ll just be great to slip on for errands.
