Belgravia in Bloom is one of many floral, botanical and horticultural events happening this week in #London. Long-standing and much loved florists in the neighborhood (tagged below) create floral displays adorning squares and storefronts to raise awareness for the overall theme. This year, in partnership with @londonwildlifetrust, Belgravia in Bloom’s theme is ‘Into the Wild’ in support of their mission to boost biodiversity and inspire Londoners to connect with nature. Last week, I spent a couple of hours shooting content for the blog in Notting Hill so, naturally, I treated myself to a post-shoot mooch about in Westbourne Grove, just a short walk from Portobello Road. Here are a few of the spots that I’m always bound to pop into when I’m in the area: • @sohohome for an always fresh and modern take on home interiors
• @sezane showcases gorgeous, colorful seasonal clothing that are well made and long-lasting
• @daylesfordfarm for a healthy lunch or a great selection of organic cheeses, juices and teas, fresh produce and classic homewares
• @wildathearthq for gorgeous blooms to cheer up a friend or your home; the owner is also super passionate about rescuing dogs so I love supporting her business
• @bodyism for the absolute best iced honey latte and açaí bowl [they also offer a wellness membership if you’re a local and want to join!]

• @me_andem for an absolutely stunning selection of items with beautiful feminine detailing

We made it to #Puglia yesterday and have been spoiled by sunshine, beautiful weather, delicious food, stunning views and the loveliest company! This morning, we explored Ostuni, the White City. It’s wild that it dates back to 600 BC! (Matera, which is close by, dates back even further 🤯). It’s feels so nice to explore new places with my two favorite guys - Louie is doing so well and traveling like a champ! 🥹 Let me know if you’ve been to Puglia and where we need to go (restaurants, towns, beaches etc)! Louie has been a little under the weather this wee

Louie has been a little under the weather this week and super clingy. All he wants is me. As I was getting ready this morning, he was whining while I was getting ready because he wanted me to hold him (not because he wasn’t well; he’s better, he just wanted me). And that could be quite annoying especially for someone who needs a lot of alone time, like me, but motherhood definitely makes you think about your needs differently. It reminds you so much more about how some things will not last forever. A season comes along & instead of coming back next year.. it actually never returns. Once that season is gone, it’s gone forever. One day, he won’t be this little. One day, I won’t be able to hold him. One day, I won’t see him reaching up for me. One day, he won’t think I’m hilariously funny (that’s for sure). So, now, when I think “I just need a second to myself” … an almost immediate thought follows .. “he won’t always be this little or want me this much”. And, while I think we do need to take care of ourselves (in whatever way that looks / makes sense for you & your situation) because parenthood can be overwhelming and hard and just.. A LOT .. I am grateful for that perspective because it reminds me to really relish in these moments, even when they could be a little frustrating or annoying. So, give me all the arms outreached, give me all the hugs. Even all the whines as he follows me around while I try to get ready 😄 His love gives me so much happiness and I hope mine always does the same for him. #motherhood #perspective

What a weekend! In an effort to post more than once a month (😅), I thought I’d share todays look for our family walk in Windsor Great Park & some of what we got up to. Our friends had their twins while I was in Florida and we were so excited to finally meet them && bring them some goodies! This was Louie’s first time meeting a newborn baby and he did so good (swipe to see) 😍 And then the rest of the weekend was just lots of cooking and playtime with Louie (you can see so much of his personality in the last slide). I am loving this age! He is so silly and saying more and more words everyday. His favorite thing to say is “oh dear..” 🤣🤣 Anyway!! I’m jealous of all of you who get to watch episode 4 of The Last of Us tonight after y’all got me hooked this week.
