The Outfits I Wore During Our Trip To Ibiza

Well, hello there, lovelies! We recently returned from a beautiful getaway as a family to the island of Ibiza just off the coast of Spain. Today, I’m going to share some of the outfits I wore during our time there but, first, I thought I’d tell you a little bit about the island as I feel like what you hear isn’t the full reality.

Ibiza has a reputation for being the ‘go to’ spot for young adults to party at these [allegedly] legendary clubs that secure famous DJ’s to play well into the early hours of the morning. However, despite traveling with a 3-year-old, we actually found that the island is surely not getting the full credit it deserves. It’s actually a destination that has something for every kind of traveler looking to get away. There are rugged hiking trails that lead you to breathtaking vistas, rustic old-stone churches and farmhouses turned into restaurants serving fresh ceviche and croquettes, and endless beautiful beaches to either relax on or take your kids to ensure they are worn out at the end of the day! We really, really enjoyed it and left feeling like there was so much left to explore that we didn’t get a chance to see. You all have sent in quite a few questions about the trip over on Instagram so I have started to put my thoughts together in a proper travel diary but, for now, I thought I’d share some of the outfits I wore during our time there in case you have your own Summer travels coming up!

To start, I have this super flowy and fun Free People dress that I wore to dinner the second night we were there. After a long, hot day in the sun with Louie, I just wanted something that looked and felt effortless and this certainly fit the bill. It runs very slightly large. I’m in the XS here.

This dress is also from last year [sorry!] but it looks like there is a newer version of it and it’s available in a few colors. If you’re needing a good hat to provide excellent face coverage, THIS one is my go to! It’s sturdy and reasonably affordable compared to others I’ve seen online that are just wildly overpriced.

I’ve always been a fan of Abercrombie swimwear [proof here] and this years’ selection did not disappoint. I’ve purchased a couple but, this turquoise one is what I ended up packing for Ibiza. I absolutely love the fit and color of these and I love that they also provide different bum coverage options for the bottoms! So great!

DO. NOT. MISS. THIS JUMPSUIT! It’s such a good and easy throw on when it is sweltering and you can feel that sting of the sun being on your skin most of the day. It’s so good! Also … can we have a moment for how good Havaianas are? I somehow lost my old pair but was so excited to see a Havaianas shop in Old Town and I got to repurchase them! They’re the best beach flip flop! Water resistant, durable .. just, so good!

These shorts are new and I’m still deciding if I like them, ha! You’ll have to let me know what you think! I have some that are a little baggy and longer, length-wise, which I love but … I feel like these might be a little too long for how short I am, ha! Sadly, the top is old but I linked a couple that could be cute with these shorts.

This colorful pastel playsuit from Zimmerman was my big Summer splurge and I have absolutely no regrets. I love the colors and the print so much!

I can’t sing the praises of this cotton midi skirt coverup! It’s been on sale, basically, since I bought it so, definitely take advantage of that price! It’s such an easy one to quickly pop on if you have to run inside for something or need to run up to grab lunch from the beach.

This outfit combo is two of my favorite summer basics: a fitted ribbed tank and linen trousers. The ones I’m wearing are both old. The tank top is from Old Navy and the latest version of it is HERE. The linen pants are from J.Crew and I didn’t see any without a tie but, in all honesty, I have this exact same pair and I wear them regularly in the Summer. These just happened to be the ones I packed for this trip.

This rattan tote, though, is new from this year and I actually have it at my feet as I type this out! I have been bringing it with me everywhere this Summer.

My Summer obsession has been crochet and it started with these crochet pants. I’m learning that, as a Mom, I need coverups to go on quick and I love that these are just so easy and cute!

I’ll never shut up about how this is actually the most flattering, comfortable and beautiful bathing suit for anyone … but especially for Mom’s. I just think that if you’re in that season where your kids are busy and want you / need you with them in the pool … this allows you to feel all tucked in and chic! I feel so pretty every time I wear it. Runs true to size and has full bum coverage!
