I’m a sucker for quite a few things
but there are two that I found to go hand-in-hand
that I absolutely swoon over:
elbow patches and … LOVE.
(You weren’t expecting that, were you?)
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching,
and as a single girl looking for Mr. Right,
I completely know what it is like
to be nervous when it comes to opening up to that new guy in your life
or accepting a sweet invitation to dinner from someone unexpected.

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching,
and as a single girl looking for Mr. Right,
I completely know what it is like
to be nervous when it comes to opening up to that new guy in your life
or accepting a sweet invitation to dinner from someone unexpected.
When I saw these heart shaped elbow patches,
my pesky impulse buying switch was turned on.
How CUTE are they?
For a girl who believes in love
but has settled into her independent ways,
it’s the perfect addition to my closet to wear every now and then
as a reminder to keep that picky heart of mine open and,
literally, wear my heart on my sleeve.
Whether you choose to wear this sweater a little dressed up,
like I did here … messily tucked in to a fitted skirt,
or a little more casually with black skinnies and a chunky scarf,
you can’t go wrong.
Its versatility is another reason why I love it so much.
No matter what your relationship status is,
I think the best thing for anyone to do on Valentines Day is make some plans!
Whether it’s with your girlfriends,
husband,
roommates,
or yes, even with just yourself,
make some plans to DO what you love!
Don’t forget thank the special people in your life that fill up your love cup,
and of course, I always think it’s a good idea to WEAR what you love, too.
