I know what you’re thinking:
“Man, this girl really likes lime green.”
Or … it could be way more critical, like:
“Uhhh, the Pantone Color of the Year is ’emerald’ not lime.
Gosh these style bloggers are just so dumb.”
What?
It would be way too conceited and prideful of me to think every reader
finds what I have on my body to be aesthetically pleasing
or be completely wrapped up in every word that I have to say on my platform here.
So I know that that thought is a definite possibility,
and I am totally fine with that. I think every blogger should.
But, if that is what you’re thinking,
then I would respond with a really threatening response, like:
“Give me. a. break.”
(I think I just called myself out on the fact that
I’m more of a lover than a fighter.)
It may be that I’m going through a lime green phase,
kind of like when little boys pick on the little girls that they like in elementary school
and then they grow out of it,
(Oh. Right. Definitely isn’t a phase…)
except for fashion bloggers.
So, maybe I won’t grow out of this color phase I’m going through,
but I’m pretty okay with that, too.
I think it’s healthy,
a sign that I’m not afraid of commitment, perhaps?
I’ll go with that.

I want to switch gears a little bit.
It’s Friday, and time for another Friday Find.
But, I will point out,
that my Friday Find is, again, more of a direction.
See those buttons above my ‘About Me’ blurb?
Don’t be afraid of them. Move your mouse over to each one, click.
Now, explore and support!
With the help of my sweet friend, Danielle, {aka Shop Dandy},
I have made it so much easier for you to stay connected with me,
the Florida girl behind Sequins & Things!
I want to point out one, in particular.
The “+” button represents “Bloglovin“, which is an amazing site
that I encourage all of you blog lovers
(ha, get it? see what I did there)
to check out if you haven’t discovered it already.
It is the one-stop shop when it comes to blogs.
Once you sign up as an account holder,
you just add the blogs you want to keep up with
to your favorites and it will create a feed of blog posts for you,
which I’ve found to be the easiest way to keep up with them all.
So, add “Sequins & Things” to your favorites to make sure you don’t miss a post!
Sequins & Things also has a Facebook page
that you can connect to with the “F” button.
Feel free to “like” the page so you can stay current
on all the latest blog posts.
It also gives you an opportunity to reach out to any of the amazing
and creative people that have contributed to this stylish venture.
You’ll get to see a more personal side to me via Twitter.
In addition to my daily Instagram posts and blog entries,
you’ll find sales notifications as I find them,
favorite quotes, random realizations, thought airings,
swoon-worthy merchandise that was simultaneously added to my mental lust-list,
and retweets of my favorite blog posts from my favorite bloggers.
So be sure to connect there, as well.
Pinterest, too, is a little more personal but in a cool way.
You can see not only what motivates, humbles and inspires this girl
but also what makes my heart happy and brings a huge smile to my face.
So, get connected with me y’all!
Follow me on all these platforms and NEVER feel
like you can’t ask me something.
Always know that I love feedback, and I love hearing from you.
Email me, comment on a blog post, Instagram photo,
if you ever have any personal style questions
or want advice on what to wear to a particular event, etc.
I am SO open to helping you look your best!

I hope that you all had a wonderful week
and have a great weekend planned,
hopefully surrounding the Derby or Cinco de Mayooo!
I will be working this weekend,
but I, personally, can’t wait to see all the derby themed outfits
via social media.
Y’all have fun and be safe!
With LOVE & sequins,
Haley
