neon dots and flowers

Good morning! How was your weekend?
Mine was spent not working, so that made mine amazing.
I did quite a bit of relaxing, with a little shopping thrown in,
and my mom and I went and saw “The Great Gatsby” on Sunday.
I had never read “The Great Gatsby” growing up.
In school, it was never on one of my summer reading lists.
I am still piecing my thoughts together on the story itself,
and how I feel about each character, who they truly are, etc.
But, if there is one thing about the movie that I wasn’t left questioning
when it was over was the costumes.
Every costume fit each actor to perfection, and the styling was just impeccable.
If you haven’t seen it already, you should.

Okay, so go ahead and say it,
I know what you’re thinking:
“I’ve already seen this outfit.”
Call me an outfit repeater, I don’t care.
I wanted to shoot this outfit because … well, I felt like it,
I posted it as a part of a Friday Find on Instagram and not as a blog post,
aanndd I liked it against the setting of this flower field.
So, there!
I linked as much as I could below.
If you are drooling over the shirt,
I want to urge you to go to your local J. Crew.
It’s probably made its way over to their sale section.

Also, if you’re a big fan of “The Great Gatsby”,
be sure to check out Derrek & Jenn Sullivan’s
Gatsby-inspired photo-shoot they did in April.
It’s to-die-for,
and was featured in a wedding blog,
