taking care of business.

Hey there!
I hope you’ve had a great start to your Tuesday, and an awesome weekend!
I picked up a shift on Saturday, and was already schedule to work Sunday and Monday,
so I’m a little exhausted today, and honestly, SUPER excited to put together an outfit
and not even think about wearing or touch scrubs for three days!
I think I’ve said this before, that I am so envious of my 9-to-5er friends.
There are so many perks to a nurse’s schedule, I know, but I wish I had the option to dress up for work.
So, today, I’m taking care of business … dressing for the job I wish I could dress for every day.
(Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE taking care of my sweet patients.
This is just my inner lover of styling talking.)
So, please … step into my office!

Skirt: J. Crew Factory {similar here, love this one} | Leopard Top: Old Navy, old | Shoes: Zara, old
Watch: Michael Kors | Necklace: HRH Collection | Bracelets: Tory BurchStella & DotStella & Dot
I love this outfit.
It’s comfortable for work, although I would get tired of wearing the heels all day,
but pain is beauty and sometimes, work puts you through some pain, as well.
I like the mixing of not only the prints/solids, but also throwing in a different texture,
and pulling it all together with the shoes.

Some of you may follow me on Instagram.
Heck, you may have found the blog through it,
so you know that I’m off to chop the locks today.
I’ve been thinking about cutting it for a year …
how sad is that? That fact alone speaks to how nervous I am!
Stay tuned to Instagram to see if I actually go through with it.
Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful day, y’all!

With LOVE & sequins,
Haley

That is such a great outfit! It's fun but still conservative enough for work. I wish I could put that together, but I usually default to black pants and some kind of shirt for work.

I can't wait to see whether or not you cut your hair… I'm sure it'll look great! I love this corporate look and your eyelet skirt is so fun.
