hello, hello! happy monday!
i told you on friday that i was going to be filling my weekend with fall fun,
but my plans for my dad and i definitely did not go … as planned.
(this is why i dislike making plans in the first place)
the reason why is because pumpkin patch parking lots are a scary place
… at least in my dad and i’s area of suburbia.
he and i don’t like crowds so the sight of cars being parked
on the side of the road outside of the pumpkin patch parking lot
(with kids who are either running rampant or bawling their eyes out
and their parents either trying to angrily shepherd their free-spirited child
or calm the emotions of the other) was just an immediate cue to both of us:
“maybe we should just watch college football today.”
so, that’s what we did, and that was fall fun enough for us!
well … moreso for him, being that florida state
gave those clemson tigers quite a whoopin’!
i know my mom was dancing all over Death Valley
that night, so happy for her beloved Seminoles!
my gators, on the other hand, are another story …
let’s not talk about it.
