It’s been a few weeks since I was in NYC for the LuckyFABB Conference, and now that I’ve reclaimed my energy by catching up on sleep, I’m missing it. I’m missing the hustle and bustle of those four days, my three sweet roomies, and the refreshingly cooler temperatures. So, because reminiscing is fun, I’m bringing you another outfit that I wore during the trip.
On the second day of the conference, I decided to go with a ‘trendy professional’ look. The peplum tweed jacket was the perfect top for this cold-natured gal. When it’s zipped, I feel like it’s a little too plain, so I added an adorable tank-top blouse with a fun black neck-tie that was just the perfect touch. I had been looking for a faux leather mini skirt that wouldn’t break the bank, and I happened to luck out in H&M the day before I left. It has criss-cross stitching on either side of it, making it stand out a little bit … which, of course, I like. I wanted to add a bit of an edge to this outfit, so I paired this with my insanely comfortable, black wedge booties from ZARA and painted on my favorite dark, plum lip color, ‘Rebel’ by MAC.
Reminiscing about a fun trip up to NYC always makes it hard to get back to normal day-to-day life, but I’m going to try by heading up to Starbucks to get my Venti iced coffee! Thanks for making ‘Sequins and Things’ a part of your Monday!
with love and sequins,
haley
