2014 | Fashion Resolutions

Good morning and Happy New Year!
I had the privilege this morning of being asked to come on to Jacksonville’s leading news station, WJXT Channel 4, to offer my personal fashion resolution, not just for me but for you, as well! Check out the video from the show here: Fashion Resolutions | News 4 Jax! Here’s some more about each resolution and fun finds to help you infuse them into your current wardrobe!

WEAR MORE COLOR
This is the resolution I am going to be trying to embrace the most! I have been really loving the black and white trend, but I’ve got to remember that a little bit of color can really make an outfit!

BUY BETTER BASICS
If you need to wear tights, buy polka dotted ones. If you want to wear shorts, put on a striped pair. If it’s cold out, wear a faux fur snood instead of a cable knit one. If you want to don a little black dress, grab one with ruffle trim sleeves. Whatever basic you find yourself wearing, make it a little more interesting this year!

EMBRACE PATTERN MIXING
Whether it is the same pattern or opposing, be sure be confident in what you put together!

My last suggestion for a fashion resolution is find a great tailor in your area! It will really make a difference in how you feel about an outfit when your garment fits you like a glove! If you are in the Jacksonville area and heard me talk about the tailor this morning, here is her information: Lilly’s Tailoring Services – 1577 Atlantic Boulevard, Neptune Beach, Florida 32266 | (904) 246-5252
Hope all of you lovelies had a wonderful New Year and are ready to put your most fashionable foot forward in 2014!

With love and sequins,
Haley
