Wow. I am just in awe of how fast this year has gone by. I cannot believe it’s New Year’s Eve, and that tomorrow, we will be waking up in a brand new year. While I was putting this post together, I couldn’t help but cry. Between working full-time [and now part-time] at the hospital, traveling here and there, moving into a new place, and running S&T full speed ahead … this year has been quite exhausting and, I’ll be honest, caused a mental and emotional breakdowns: to my best friends, my Dad, not to mention, my manager at the hospital [yes, you read that right!]. But, in retrospect, like most struggles … it has all been worth it. I have never loved doing something more than I love running this little blog, and to just see in front of me everything that I worked my tail end to create all year, culminated together, right in front of me, was overwhelming and extremely gratifying.
Anyone else excited to see what 2015 has in store? My best friend Susanna and I cling to the saying “the best is yet to come”. It’s always just a great thought for us … and I think it helps to REALLY believe it! It’s going to be a great year and, for me, personally, a transitional one. I’ll be working on having a better work / life balance, being more intentional about nurturing my relationship with Christ, more than likely letting go of my nursing profession [at least for now], and moving into a new place with one of my really good college girl friends, and working from home full-time. I hope to share what I learn this year with you all on Sequins & Things, as I work on achieving the goals I’ve set for S&T, as well.
I cannot thank you enough for the hand you play in this little blog’s growth. I appreciate you following along and supporting the brands that support the blog so very much! I still am in awe that I have people who want to read my blog, honestly. Ha, there are just so many out there right now, so I don’t know, I am just so flattered that you’d want to follow along. It really means the world, and I’m thankful for your support and love. Seriously, your comments on here or on Instagram … they mean the world. I love interacting with y’all. It’s one of my favorite things about S&T. If I can ever help you in any way, never hesitate to leave a comment or email me: haley@sequinsandthings.com!

A HUGE … I mean, HUGE … thank you to the best photographer in the Jacksonville area, Mr. Miguel Emmanuelli. It’s incredible the amount of grace you show me for me just being me and I cannot tell you how thankful I am for that and how your talent has made my vision for S&T’s imagery come to life. Your contribution is insurmountable. Thank you for partnering with me and believing in what this little thing could become since Day One. I appreciate you and am proud of all you have accomplished in this time, as well.
Thank you to my Dad and Francie for your love and guidance during this year. I’m so very thankful for y’all, both professionally and, most importantly, personally! Y’all will be happy to know that one of my New Year’s resolutions is to have less breakdown’s this year! YAYYY! xo.
