Hey there, lovelies!! Happy Monday! I thought it could be fun to walk into it with a cute new pair of shoes and some Fall outfit inspiration! Unfortunately, it hasn’t gotten cold enough for a blanket scarf yet but I am ready for it when the temperature finally falls. I’m so surprised by this weather here in London! I was SURE that it would be colder by now, but I mean … temperatures in the 70’s every day and more sunshine than rain since I’ve been here is more than ideal! This long line cardigan is so comfortable. It’s a little heavier than I expected, which I will really like when it starts getting chillier. I love how long it is, and that you can dress it up or down. I finally snagged a pair of these gorgeous Manolo Blahnik’s on my trip to Harrods a few weeks ago and was sure I’d be able to link to them somewhere! Well, I can … you can find them here … but I haven’t been able to find this TAUPE color online ANYWHERE. I’ve searched American and European high-end retailers and department stores. I’m so sorry, you guys! I know for a fact they have them at Harrods but I’m very aware that does not help most of you. If you do happen to make it out this way anytime soon, stop in and snag a pair if you are set on that color. If not, I highly recommend the Camel color that you see here. They’re the ones I originally wanted but couldn’t find that color anywhere in London.

HEADS UP! My jeans are under $100! They fit true to size.

How was everyone’s weekend?? Hopefully good! I enjoyed mine. Friday night, Whitney and I met Ben at a pub over in Notting Hill after work. We called it an early night, then Whit went to yoga on Saturday morning while Ben & I checked out a really cute restaurant in Notting Hill [again] called Eggbreak. The food was delicious but their drinks were so tiny! I got a juice and was done with it in two sips.

FYI // In case y’all are wondering or have been wanting one … I will eventually be doing a ‘London Eats’ post that will highlight the restaurants I love in London. I loooove trying out new restaurants and know it’d be helpful for y’all to have all of my favorites in one place. But, be a little patient with me on that one – it’s a ‘future’ post on the list that’ll take some time to put together. And, I’d ideally like to do it after I leave that way no one gets left off. Who knows … I may go to my favorite restaurant during my last week here. So, stay tuned!

Afterwards, he and I ventured over to Sloane Square to exchange some things I got him for his birthday. Does anyone else love shopping with their significant other? I think it’s so fun but … I’m a style blogger. I love to shop, in general, so I wondered if it was just me. Also, Ben is 6’3 and slender so finding garments that fit him the way he would like them to is tough. I feel like I’ve been facing lots of challenges lately and this is the easiest one so I’m like yes! I think I can tackle this one!! Haha!

Anyway, Saturday night, Whitney, Ben & I went to one of his best friends’ house for a BBQ. It was so fun. Whitney and I became besties with these two little girls [the daughters of one of Ben’s friends], who reminded us of the little girls on The Holiday. We were swooning. We played UNO and had a little concert in the playroom. Tons of people showed up. I’ll let you know next time we have a show and you can come! 😉 Aside from that, we had a blast getting to know his friends. We taught everyone how to play FlipCup. They had heard of it but never played before. We had so much fun!

Yesterday, Whit and I ventured over to Hillsong and heard the most amazing sermon by Mal Fletcher. I had never heard of him before but he is a media / social futurist, author and business leader consultant. He’s written a few books, one of which I want to read called ‘Making God Famous’. His message was really powerful and he hit on a lot of great points that are so relevant to what I do as a blogger and digital influencer and a believer. He talked about how to living in a digital age in a healthy way while also glorifying God. The podcast to it isn’t online yet but, when it is, I am going to watch it again because I know there were quite a few things I couldn’t type in my notes fast enough. Let me know if you’d like me to tweet the link when it’s up. I’d be happy to!

Last night, Ben was SET on going to a bar and watching the Jags / Packers game! Obviously, I wasn’t opposed! We ended up having to go to this casino that had a sports watching area that played the game. As we were watching it, Josh Duhamel and Fergie casually walk in. No big deal … We honestly had no idea who they were at first. He looks a bit like McSteamy from Grey’s Anatomy but I could tell it wasn’t. I didn’t recognize her AT ALL. I thought she had long brown hair but her hair was in a shoulder length bob and it was blonde. Once someone told us who they were, we were like ooooohhhhh, yeah … okay, we see it now! Hah! Whit & I successfully resisted the urge to ask her to sing London Bridge with us in a Snapchat, but we were like is that like asking a monkey to dance? Yeah … a little bit. But, they did seem so nice. They sat with a group of guys that were watching the Vikings / Titans game, and you could tell they were just so friendly. Anyone that walked up to them, they immediately got in position to take a selfie with them. It was sweet. Toward the end of the Jags game, Josh came and sat near us because he wanted to see the end of our game. He wanted the Packers to lose because they’re in the same division as the Vikings, so he was cheering for the Jags with us! Ben & I were clearly the ONLY Jag’s fans there – clearly identifiable by me in my leopard tank and Ben in his Jags shirt, hah – so he would be like ‘Come on, Jags!’ and look over at us. Seriously, super nice guy. Clearly very social and cool. But, anyway, unfortunately, the Jags couldn’t pull out the W but they really did put up a good fight. Hopefully next week they can make it happen!

Whew! Sorry … I talked A LOT about my weekend but they’re much more exciting than they used to be at home, hah! There’s so much to do and see and experience here. I’m seriously so exhausted at the end of every day. I walk SO much. One day last week, I had close to 21,000 steps. Crazy! Anyway, I hope y’all have a great start to your week and I hope you’ll stop back by tomorrow! I’ll be talking about the Fall shoes I have on my lust list and some that I’ve already tried out! I have a Fall bootie / boot review coming but it’ll be a couple weeks to get imagery put together and all my thoughts in a post! Love you guys more than you know! xo.

Hey Kim! Ahh, I know … I really want to but the problem is I can never remember what I’m wearing when I go to put the post together – which can be a few days after the shoot. I’ll try and do a better job of taking note of my lipstick/liner combos as I’m shooting. xo.
