Hi friends! This weekend, I’ve had such a wonderful opportunity to explore Amsterdam, a city that I have – honestly – underestimated. This unique little city has been such a delightful surprise because, while I consider a privilege to be able to travel to places I never thought I’d see, Amsterdam just never really appealed to me. I’ve heard you ‘have to go’ but not for the reasons that I’d particularly find appealing. So, with that said, I can’t wait to share more about this trip in a couple of weeks.

This look was shared on Instagram a couple of weeks ago and I felt like, because y’all enjoyed it so much, that I’d have it photographed for the blog. I came across the sweater with a bow back detail at Club Monaco a few months ago in Neal’s Yard and immediately picked it up and bought it. It’s THE perfect gray color and I, obviously, love the bow detailing on the back. This top is one of quite a few Club Monaco piece that have caught my eye due to their ladylike detailing. So, the hurricane came and went over the weekend and I’m happy to report that my apartment is okay, but I’m still waiting to hear back from my Dad and Stepmom regarding their house, which is RIGHT on the water. Fingers crossed they didn’t come to anything too bad! Mainly, I’m just happy it didn’t get any worse and that everyone I know of is safe and sound. Such a scary thing to watch something like that to your hometown that you can’t do anything to help! Thank you for all the prayers and concerns, y’all xox

Today, we are going on a private canal tour in the morning and possibly shopping around the Nine Streets! Kathleen and I will be so sad to turn our bikes in before we leave. It was DEFINITELY the best way to see a lot of the city in the shortest amount of time! Full travel diary to Amsterdam will be coming soon … don’t worry! Have a great Monday, y’all!
