There are always about two posts a year where I style culottes and … honestly … they never go over well with you all BUT … I feel like inspiration to style them hits me from time to time and I have to embrace it. For whatever reason, they’re kind of polarizing. Girls either love them or hate them. Personally, I think they’re so chic and flattering on most body types. It elevates a moderately dressy work outfit to another level. Maybe this makes people nervous but I’m all about making heads turn from time to time, especially when I’m typically living in comfort clothes!  The pair I’m wearing here are old but I linked similar below for you guys. I really like this new turtleneck sleeve sweater I recently purchased and felt culottes were an appropriate pairing. They both have a feminine, romantic feel and topping it off with a pop of color like this Gucci crossbody, or any of the following:

I’ve been drooling over all of the new Fall handbags that the big designers have recently come out with. Shoes are also a weakness of mine this time of year. I’ve been opting for more affordable options but, I mean, look at some of what’s available now at Nordstrom:

Also, if you’ve always been a little nervous about wearing white after Labor Day …. just know that you’re not the only one who breaks the rule. So many girls are embracing the rebellion against that old school rule 🙂

How’s everyones week going? Justine got back in town on Monday from being away during the hurricane and it’s crazy how much faster she is when it comes to completing tasks. I’m so much slower. I guess it’s my perfectionism … I also get really overwhelmed when it comes to having to ‘figure something out’ whereas Justine has a more logical, let’s tackle this approach. So thankful for how we work together so well! In addition to that, the boys’ tummies are feeling better. They went to their puppy day care yesterday and had such a blast. Today, I’ve got a handy man coming by to help hang stuff up around the house [I’m terrible at that stuff!] and I’ll be finishing up all the edits that need to go into the beauty tutorial I’m sharing next week. I have a lot of blog post prep to do before next week as I’m leaving on Monday to head somewhere I’ve never been. Can’t wait!
